  1. There are a bunch of drill one hole and engrave Form 1 suppressor kits out on the market. All you need to do is chuck up one end in the vice of a drill press and drill out the end opposite from the threaded end. All the internal baffles are already there. Pretty much the same as an 80% lower except you should have a trust and approved form 1 before you do it. Google solvent trap and you'll find tons of kits for sale.
  2. Fucking sweet tea as a descriptor. It's fucking iced tea! You can put sweetener in it or not. I mean, Lydia made sweet tea with her Stevia but she sure didn't put any ice in it. /notrivial
  3. Even in winter, carry plenty of water. The low desert humidity will still suck moisture out of you and you won't realize it as much in the coolness.
  4. IMO, HR 127 will stall in committee. There is pretty much a bill like this introduced every session and it dies a quick death. That said, there's no telling what will be passed in the next 2 years.
  5. Did you go with the big engines?
  6. If you've ever done a lot production type soldering, you don't have any feeling in your fingertips after a while anyway.
  7. The guy is shooting a bolt action in the video I posted. Also, just in case you want to see the aftermath of shooting flesh with a 50 cal at fairly close ranges.
  8. The guy is shooting a bolt action in the video I posted.
  9. This guy is an outdoor education prof in Melbourne Aus and makes some great short films. Watch his Mile an Hour video after this one.
  10. I worked for a small instrument company in the early 90s and the owner, who wasn't a US citizen, would make 4-6 week around the world sales trips 2 or 3 times a year. At the end of every day, his admin would have all the sales persons write up a page or two of the contacts/sales made each day, engineering mgr would make a report and manufacturing would make a report and would fax it to whatever hotel he was staying at. He would read the report and and markup/ask questions in the margins and have the whole thing resent back and ready for the admin when she came into the office. So imagine 15-20+ pages of scrolled thermal fax every morning. I would say thing got better when email came around but when that happened we got an email address. As in one, for the whole company.
  11. This video came up next. Probably could be in the holy shit thread too
  12. It would be a lot cooler if it was a space station. You should get someone on that for you.
  13. Troph really could have used that pic in the upper left for the trailer.
  14. I read these in an Aussie Man voice for authenticity.
  15. Have you priced ammo recently? Might be cheaper just to buy the hotel.
  16. I ram filled your mom last night /canofcorn
  17. Great pics of Caprock. Post up if you have any Philmont questions on the treks. Did treks in 2015 and 2017 with my son. Had a great time.
  18. I can verify that you can nap very easily in one of these chairs. Second pic at the top of the page, I pulled the chairs down by the edge of the lake and the lapping sound of the waves put me right to sleep.
  19. We have a couple of the antigravity loungers. Wife got me this one for Christmas and its very comfortable and the cup holder in the table keep my beverage from spilling.
  20. Dad? Family of 5 growing up in the 70s on one public servant salary. Mom and older sister each got half a chicken breast, younger sister got the legs, I got the thighs and dad got the wings, neck and back, maybe the wishbone if mom cut up the chicken that way.
  21. We took a couple of days off Thursday and Friday and headed out to Garner State Park Thursday morning with the trailer. Stayed in site 45 in the Oakmont, right next to the pavillion. I've been going to GSP/Frio river with my wife and her family for almost 30 years now and this was out first trip during the winter. Had perfect weather, a great site and really enjoyed ourselves. Climbed Old Baldy on Friday and then hiked up to the Crystal Cave on Saturday. Chunked and skipped a bunch of rocks in the river with my son and wished I would have brought some fishing gear. I've caught some nice bass out of the Frio in my kayak in the summer even with all the people around and I bet you could do really well out of a kayak in the winter. We will definitely be back again for a winter trip. On top of Old Baldy Painted Rock overlook near Crystal Cave Tasty bacon-egg-3 pepper-cheeseburger with japs and a non-public consumption Shiner blond What you don't want to see when you walk back up to your (not ours) campsite Bonus pic: This BMF cruised through the campground but I didn't see him set up anythere. 4x4 van conversion with dually rear wheels
  22. The Houston Area Live Steamers http://hals.org/ have tracks out at Zube Park in NW Harris Co. Kids go absolutely crazy watching and riding on these things.
