    AMMO THREAD

Found a few components and a box of hollow points traveling up to my dads on Friday. I have several box of those win white box hp that I bought years ago at Academy for about $40 i think. and haven’t seen them for sale in a while. I had read that they are Win rangers packed like that for LE sales but don’t know for sure.
  2. Pretty much the same for any _____________ dealer. *insert whatever you are buying in blank
  3. Propylene glycol is non toxic in smaller quantities. You wouldn’t want to chug a full glass of it but residual amounts in your lines won’t hurt you. If you’re like us, your probably don’t drink water from your rv tap anyway.

Oh for the days of 2 cent 22 shells.
  5. That's terrible. Slow the fuck down people. https://dfwscanner.net/2021/02/11/i35w-closed-in-fort-worth-due-to-massive-pileup-mass-casualty-incident-declared/
  6. PBS documentary on Big Bend that dropped a few days ago. https://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/big-bend-the-wild-frontier-of-texas-nuespk/23821/
  7. That CZ is a great looking gun. One of those in 6.5Grendel would be a great yute deer gun.
  8. Did the same last night and used an air quick connector to hose bib to blow out the lines. Read where someone suggested some rv antifreeze down the drains, in the toilet bowl and the tanks. Might help a bit.
  9. New RV with AL tanks will typically have the plastic plug. If it's metal, it might be an anode instead of a plug but you can remove it to drain also. Hit the pressure relief valve before draining and use teflon tape when putting the plug back in. I bought a wrench kit that has extra plugs to leave in the trailer just to keep from having to dig out a socket set. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BMRRZ94 They video on this link shows how to remove, drain and replace.
  10. Drain the tank, open low point drains for hot and cold water lines, drain water heater and blow out the lines with air. In really cold climates they usually pump antifreeze into the lines but depending on where you are, you might not need to do that. We went back to our farm this past weekend. Trailer is still in the driveway and I'm gonna drain and blow out the lines tonight before we haul it back but I won't be putting in any antifreeze here in Houston.
  11. Dang that was lucky, doggone near lost a $400 hand cart.
  12. Try to slide in at least one dickbutt, preferably as an animated transition.
  13. Took the rv up the ranch this weekend and I had some small engine help. Or channeling my best Gary Larsen "And the cows discovered electricity"
  14. Oshman’s representing. I’ve got a bunch of those era Winchester shotgun shells that were bought in the ‘80s at Target of all places.
  15. Those heavy 9 field loads are probably for live pigeon shoots.
  16. More back lot MX if you’re gonna be making more videos. Maybe a table top over a dump truck just for fun.
  17. Cool gun. If you want to be sure on caliber, have a reputable smith do a chamber casting and measure.
  18. Great Carl Hiassen book. First one of his I read.
  19. There are a bunch of drill one hole and engrave Form 1 suppressor kits out on the market. All you need to do is chuck up one end in the vice of a drill press and drill out the end opposite from the threaded end. All the internal baffles are already there. Pretty much the same as an 80% lower except you should have a trust and approved form 1 before you do it. Google solvent trap and you'll find tons of kits for sale.
  20. Fucking sweet tea as a descriptor. It's fucking iced tea! You can put sweetener in it or not. I mean, Lydia made sweet tea with her Stevia but she sure didn't put any ice in it. /notrivial
  21. Even in winter, carry plenty of water. The low desert humidity will still suck moisture out of you and you won't realize it as much in the coolness.
  22. IMO, HR 127 will stall in committee. There is pretty much a bill like this introduced every session and it dies a quick death. That said, there's no telling what will be passed in the next 2 years.
