  1. Lotta truth here, but the added length behind the axle on our TT is throwing me off. I can back my boat trailer like a champ and put it within an inch of where so want it but I’m finding with the TT that small adjustments are swinging the rear of the trailer bunch. Jammed the awning roll into the door post last time we took it out
  2. Yes, exactly. Nice looking beeves.
  3. My wife ran a support desk in that same market as UCS and hired a ton of people from them after they finished their indentured service. Heard lots of stories of stuff from there that would make Lumbergh seems like a great boss.
  4. Use this and put the value on the form. It will be lower than KBB. if you put anything lower than that value the state will change it to that number when he goes to register
  5. I don't remember that one but I do remember discussing the one where a boat ran over a rope attached to one of the mooring bouys near a spar rigs and it got tangled up in the propshaft and I think pulled it, sinking the boat. Am I remembering that correctly? Seems like the boat owner got some damages from the rig or something like that.
  6. I posted on the best fishing trip thread that I used to do the 52hr long range tuna trips out of Freeport on Capt Elliot's Big E. On one trip we hit the fucking buoy marking the channel entrance to the Freeport Jetty, Clanked that bitch down the side of the boat. Trip was snake bit from the get go. On another trip that I wasn't on, the boat on was auto pilot heading to one of the spars off Lousiana, the Captain's wife was at the helm and they almost ran the boat into one of the platforms out in the High Island sector. Boat was within a couple hundred feet of hitting before they got it turned.
  7. @Wulaw Horn has a boat? Unless they ran under a platform rig and hit a crossmember or some deck grating my guess is the net booms on that shrimper. Though its usually the shrimper running over something. 8. But that’s not with a 10-12’ surf rod and 4-6 oz of weight, right? If you want to get out far in the surf you need the right equipment.
  9. Don't know what type of gear you are fishing with in the surf but a couple of surfcasting spining rods and some practice casting them will probably work out better and be cheaper than dunking a drone.
  10. Pretty good documentary on Reggie Fountain, complete with big ass gold necklace
  11. For some reason this is the first thing that popped into my mind ...
  12. Wow, a salesman that actually told you your vehicle might not be up the the task. I would have expected a Your truck is fine or some other bullshit to try to close the deal.
  13. And let’s try the cowboy .... bam! Ding!
  14. Please tell there was at least once blank on the app filled in with tree-fiddy.
  15. Haven't read too much on this but back in the early 2000s, there was a pretty nice bar/disco/go-kart track in Baku. Was installing some equipment on a big semi-submersible at a shipyard and we learned of this place from some of the rig crew. Loser of the race had to buy the next round and in between races you could set in the disco and watch young Russian girls dance with each other.
  16. She will throw them away by then because expiration date
  17. My boat is a 20' dual console Key West with a Yam F150 4 stroke sitting on an aluminum 2 axle trailer and all loaded up its about 4k. My daughter has a 4x4 Tacoma and we've pulled it back and forth to the boat shed a few times on surface streets and I really wouldn't want to my boat with it at highway speeds. I think it has a tow rating of about 6500lbs but it seems like the boat wants to push the truck around a bit too much for me. A 24' wake boat is probably 5K+ by itself and another 1K for the trailer so you might be 6-7K which IMO is overloading a Taco/4runner for highway travel.
  18. This. I see 3500lbs in the spec sheets and that nothing. I bought a new Ram Diesel to tow the travel trailer and we took my Dad's old suburban to tow the boat with on camping trips this summer. Wife has driven a minivan forever and we have been thinking of getting rid of the van and sub and get her into something that that can tow up to 5k and only have 2 vehicles in the driveway.
