  1. I've stayed in a cabin there a few times. We usually just grocery shopped and cooked at the cabin, but did venture into town some. ES is great for nature, but the town itself is a little bit of a tourist trap area. Pretty much any restaurant on the main strip that I went to was decent, but nothing to ride home about. It's a nice little getaway area and is quiet, so I do recommend.
  2. I used to live in Hot Springs & Little Rock, I find most of the food in HS is not the greatest and overpriced for what you get. Downtown is a tourist trap for the most part. I was last in HS in the spring here a few suggestions: Rocky's Corner-Pizza Steinhause Keller-German Biergarten Fisherman's Wharf-Not the greatest Seafood, but can sit outside on the lake if the weather is nice Pancake Shop-Seconded French Quarter-Very bad strip club (I have a story somewhere on the board about it) Avoid Brick Street Tavern-Food sucked Go to McClard's if you want for the beans and tamales, but avoid the BBQ LR- Quite a few things downtown Gus' Famous chicken Cooper Grill Dizzy's Cotham's-Only open during the week for lunch, but has pretty solid burgers
  3. What am I supposed to do with the other 8 minutes?
  4. I live at royal and 75. It sounded crazy and shook my apartment building some. The sky was lighting up green when the lightening struck.
  5. Finally got around to watching it last night. I thought it was a great ending for Jessie. I rewatched Felina before this and damn I forgot how good the ending was. BB is such a rewatchable show and I catch new thi gs every time. This movie has me itching for more and cant wait for BCS to finally return. I think the movie showed his evolution as a character with the flashbacks to earlier in the series where he is a dumbass punk and the junkyard guy referencing "yeah magnets". Jessie went to hell and back over the course of the series and deserved this ending.

Ten50 is at least better than Dickey's or Spring Creek.
  7. Wow, Maher actually got one down the middle.
  8. Yeah, I don't think this is the case. Example: Romo/Prescott.
  9. So after 6 months I decided I had it under control and gave it another go. Damn, was I wrong, it just lead down another path of self destruction and loathing in just a matter of a few weeks. Today marks day 2. My mother grew up with alcoholic parents, but I only need my grandparents as the sober living people they came to be in the later years. After my mother passed last year, my step dad was going through some of her keepsakes and came across my grandparents AA chips. I'm not sure how old they are, but I think they're cool to have and though some of you guys may appreciate them. I'm going to keep them on me as inspiration.

  12. I we all knew James Franco has been thrown in before, but these girls paid to take a "sex scene" acting class. https://www.npr.org/2019/10/03/766586090/james-franco-sued-by-former-students-for-sexual-exploitation-and-fraud When he opened Studio 4 in 2014, Sarah Tither-Kaplan was one of its first students. Franco taught a class called Sex Scenes. According to the complaint, students had to audition for the class — and pay an extra $750 for it — but Tither-Kaplan says she was thrilled to be selected. "I really respected him as an actor, and the fact that I was selected based off of an audition meant to me that I was valued for my talent," Tither-Kaplan says. She assumed the Sex Scenes class would teach her how to "maneuver in sex scenes professionally as an actor," but it "did not do that at all." "In fact, I didn't know anything about nudity riders, the detail required in them, the right to counsel with the director about nude scenes, the custom to choreograph nude scenes ahead of time to negotiate them with the cast and the director — I knew none of that throughout that class," Tither-Kaplan says. In 2016, Franco made a docuseries based on his Sex Scenes class that he posted on his Facebook page. The videos have since been taken down, but one is still available on Vimeo. It's described as the first class in which students talk about the scenarios they came up with when they auditioned. As the class progressed, Tither-Kaplan says, students were encouraged to take risks with their bodies. She says she wanted to be a team player, so she went along. "I wanted to do my best, and I wanted to make friends there, and I wanted to have it really mean something for me," she says. "So I did what seemed to be the thing that they wanted in this class, and that was get naked and do sex scenes and not complain and, you know, push the envelope. And ... I felt encouraged when I just went for it." And she says she was rewarded for it. "After I did the Sex Scenes master class, and did the nude scene, and the sex scene in my short film, I started working with them very regularly," Tither-Kaplan says. "And not a lot of other students got that chance."
  13. Was it Matt Flynn? I think he had a few monster games that got him paid.
  14. Also disappointed that sex cop or sex cop's wife haven't testified.
  15. I think these witnesses are hurting her cause. I'm hearing nothing that makes me feel any kind of sympathy for her.
  16. I've never followed a murder trial this close, but it seems like they usually take longer or is a week normal? Also, how much attention would this be getting if she had been a teacher, nurse, etc instead of a cop?
  17. This was posted in my hood earlier.
