  1. I think that's it too. When I was building my Droid, it was mainly small kids or 30-40 something men doing it. They have a shop where you can build a $200 light saber too, it was pretty much all grownups carrying those around.
  2. That's what I'm thinking too. Yeah, it looks great, but it's basically a Millennium Falcon in the middle of a new land. I think they need more rides/shows and that's what will bring the crowds in.
  3. Went to Orlando with the Gf (no pics) for an extended weekend. Decided at the last minute to visit Galaxy's edge Monday. Holy shit, they did an incredible job of setting it up. Even the cast members treat you as of you're on a different planet. Smugglers run was awesome, but very similar to star tours except you get to push buttons, etc. I did geek out some and build a r-unit Droid at Droid Depot. That was a cool, but expensive experience. The crowds were very light considering this only opened a few weeks ago.
  4. If you have place bets running they are automatically turned off on the come out roll until a new point is established. You can ask the dealers to leave them on, but it's not typical to do so.
  5. Not really. This is the level of customer service I expect at poepyes. Now if someone were to say "my pleasure" within that time establishment, then it would be bizzaro world.
  6. Hahaha. Adding Tonya Harding just takes this to 11.
  7. Stopped at Bodacious in Longview the other day. The place was legit. Brisket was great and had a nice peppery bark. I really loved the ribs, they had a little bit of spice to them. Housemade sausage was ok. Not the best I've had, but better than most places. Did not try the sauce (they threw that in with the tray, it was definitely not needed).
  8. I definitely prefer playing in Shreveport compared to Sucklahoma. No ante, 100x odds and more $5 tables. It was a little choppy this weekend. I usually only play with $200-$300 a session each time and primarily do HG method. I do like to roll, so I'll play the pass line when I'm rolling and adjust my odds depending on the point. We ventured over to Margaritiaville and it is the nicest casino in Shreveport-Bossier in my opinion. I had a table to myself for a little bit and doubled my money for that session. I usually stay away from the middle of the table, but Maragaritaville had a hot roller bonus instead of the all tall small. I played it some and saw it hit a few times during the night. Every few rollers seemed to hit 2-3 of the number combos which pays 5-1 for 2 combos and 10-1 for 3 combos. I saw it get to 5 combos, but I wasn't on it at the time it hit, but one guy at the table and $50 on it and took $2500 in winnings when it hit.
  9. Saw Chris Stapleton in Bossier last night. Had pit tickets and got there early enough to get at the stage. He put on a hell of a show, and just killed it all around. If your a guitar fan, I highly recommend this show. The openers were solid as well. Markus King really stood out on the guitar too.
  10. Ah the memories. My friends and I spent many Sunday nights at the Green Acres Bowl, $30 for 2-3 hours of bowling, a large pizza and a pitcher of beer+ whatever extra pitchers we consumed.
  11. That's disappointing. I watched the trailer after posting this and got that vibe as well.
  12. I'm kind of looking forward to this tommorow. Produced by Charlize Theron and the guys from BattleBots.
  13. After my last couple of runs, Ive seen nothing but cold tables, so I've been toying with the dark side on the app. For you that do that, do you place any other bets besides the don't pass line with odds? I'm going to Shreveport next weekend and looking to change up my play method some. I know I'm not gonna get rich, but I'd like to lengthen my time at the table and possibly walk out with a little more cash then I go in with.
  14. Who stopped at Hobby Lobby on the way to Hutchins? https://www.fox4news.com/news/mckinney-pd-searching-for-man-accused-of-taking-pictures-up-womans-skirt
  15. I think whoever is doing the targeted FB ads at Audible needs to make a few adjustments. #noracist
  16. @bearschlong Thanks for that, and I do worry about that sometimes I am just in a honeymoon phase of sorts with this and how sustainable this path will be.
  17. I woke up several times asleep in my vehicle parked in my driveway, not remembering getting there. My worst night/morning was where the last thing i remember was leaving the bar at last call. The next thing I know, the sun is coming up and I'm behind the wheel cruising down 75 and the entire passenger side of my car is scratched/dented up like I sideswiped a wall or something. Getting really close to 5 months now and still haven't had a drink. I can't say the desire hasn't been there, but I've managed not to. I will say that I have managed this with very few meetings, but I have been in regular therapy and have been visiting a psychiatrist. Would I have been able to do this without anti-depressant/anxiety meds, have no idea, but I"m very thankful for a semi clear head and not having to nurse the damn hangovers every morning.
  18. I've got pit tickets for Chris Stapleton in Shreveport in 2 weeks, can't wait. I've seen him once before, but not as a headliner.
  19. Just found out my role could be potentially outsourced next year. I guess it's time to spruce up the resume. Anyone know what type of tree I should take my picture in front of?
  20. Quinn suspended for 2 games for PEd's. https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/already-injured-quinn-gets-2-game-suspension
  21. This times out good for me. I signed up for the HULU basic package on black Friday last year (.99 a month for a year), so it looks like that deal will be ending about the time DIS+ launches. I've been happy with hulu, I can usually find something to watch and there are complete seasons of a lot of shows, plus some networks keep current seasons updated each week of their top shows (ABC, NBC and some fox content). The ESPN+ name is a little deceiving. I thought it had the basic live content plus a few extra things. From looking it up, it only has a few live sports and some of their original content (which is usually pretty good). I haven't tried it yet, but considering its bundled with the other stuff, it seems worth it to me.
  22. This, there is almost always a chicken E stop when I take a road trip outside of the metroplex. I've noticed they've closed a few stores in the suburbs over the past year or so (IE Richardson, Frisco, Wylie), I think this place is made more for small towns.
