  1. It is a good burger, I prefer Jucy's though. Last time I was that way, we hit Jucy's for lunch, then grabbed desserts at Butcher Shop to go afterwards.
  2. Makes sense. I was there for about 10 days, so the cost of that vs the international plan with AT&T made it worth it. Where it saved my as was navigating around. Google Maps is helpful with which tube line and stops to take too.
  3. Last time I was there, I bought a prepaid sim for like 25 pounds. It was good for 30 days and had like 10gig if data. From there, you can use what's app or whatever to text/call back to the States. You just have to make sure your phone is unlocked with your carrier before going. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. Holy Shit indeed. Was not expecting this. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. I give it about a 22.3% chance that the "husband" she was taking the shots with is actually the daddy.
  6. If I"m understanding correctly, your outputting from the DTV box to the soundbar? If that's the case, the only audio you're gong to get on the soundbar is DTV. Do you have an audio out on the tv to go from there to the soundbar?
  7. I'm sure she has a couple of shots at getting in elsewhere.
  8. I'm not sure how long it's been there, but it's on HULU now. I watched it last night and was blown away by the footage. I can't believe some of this was just tucked away in archives somewhere.
  9. I've seen the wait be stupid on a weekday too, but it usually moves pretty quickly. I've never had a bad meal there either.
  10. It wasn't me! I was there Sunday and Monday though.
  11. This was probably the highlight of the trip. We hiked down and kayaked around the island and the bay. The short hike to Eagle Falls was nice as well. I unfortunately saw no bears. I rode the mountain coaster and it was a blast. Kind of a short ride for $30, but how often do you get to do something like that? Agreed that the gondola was a little pricey, but the views were worth it, there were also a few paths/trails to hike once up there. Thew views were still incredible, but I can see where it would be even better with snow. The only other rec I could throw in for food that hasn't been mentioned is Rojo's tavern. I prefer hole in the wall pub type places, so this was more my speed. We stayed for karaoke Saturday night, there were 4 bachelorette parties in attendance (phone was dead, and didn't get pics), so we heard "Like a Prayer" at least 3 times, but after a couple of edibles, it was entertaining. Casinos: Harrah's and Harvey's are both dated, but not the worst I've seen. I mainly play craps, so can't speak much for the other table games. They had $10 tables in the morning, and were bumped up to at least $15 in the evening. Hardrock was definitely newer and nicer. I saw a $5 table there once, but it was minly $10-$15. The Montblue seemed nice and spacious as well.
  12. I saw a lot of good points. Having grown up in Carthage I know Longview fairly well. It's where we went for entertainment and name brand shopping. Hell I remember countless trips to Sears, home Depot Lowe's, or a Walmart open past 8pm with my dad when he was working on projects. I see Longview/Tyler as a feeder town for the small towns around it for shopping, entertainment, etc. This is evedenced by the traffic buildup around the holidays. I would assume some of this is dying out with more e-commerce coming in, but youre still going to have the olds that don't shop online and don't have quality internet access in the rural areas. I barely get 1 bar with AT&T at my dad's house and they have to use a hotspot device with Verizon to get any decent internet access. I saw several comments about teachers. While I can't speak for Longview, I would say they are not attracting much outside talent. Most of my teachers growing up had grown up in Carthage, left for college (usually SFA or Aggy) and came back while their husbands were either a teacher/coach or in the oil/gas field. A lot of them are classmates of my parents or had taught my parents. I've seen quite a few people I've gone to high school with continue this trend. Me personally, I never see myself going back to East Texas. It hasn't changed much at all in my lifetime besides a few new chain retailers that have moved in. My kids attend a school in a North Dallas suburb that I'm very happy with, while we still have all the entertainment/amenities the metroplex has to offer close by. 13. Thanks for sharing, I've heard this several times before, but never listened. Damn, it hits the nail on the head for me. I don't have much to contribute, but I really appreciate this thread and love every time it pops up. I'm at 107 days as of this morning and have a whole new perspective on things than I did before.
  14. Agreed. The CFS and the Queso are great. Never had a bad experience at Ozona.

Re-Posting. I went a few weeks back. I don't think it'll top Cattelack, but it's definitely nice to have it close to the office as a quick lunch option. Seemed pretty solid to me.
  16. Shrek was also written for him. There are test scenes with Farley doing the voice.
  17. Good to know. My office is relocating to Spring Valley/Tollway in October. Looking forward to a change in lunch spots.
  18. If you're using outlook use a mail merge file from word/Excel. Can list all recipients as a bcc.
  19. Thanks for the recs. Definitely looking forward to it and hopping for a hot streak at the craps tables.
  20. I'm going at the end of July to South Tahoe and staying at Harrah's. The GF (sorry, no pics) has a comped trip through Caesers for it. Gonna do some hiking/kayaking. Any recs for other food and entertainment are appreciated.

Blu's Barbeque just opened near my office in far north Dallas. Its on Preston between Campbell and Frankford. I stopped in today just to grab a chopped beef sandwich and it was pretty good. The brisket he was cutting form looked pretty solid and the sides looked legit. I didn't feel like having afternoon meat sweats, so I didn't try the full spread. I will definitely bee returning. There was only 2 people in there and I thought that was a shame, but the place did just open. I remember when it was like that at Cattlelack too. Gallery
  22. A count if formula should do it. In the cell you want that count, =COUNTIF(E3:E1125,"ip")
