  1. I always found Yes Dear pretty funny. Missed it in it's original run. Always had a thing for the wife (Kim) on it.
  2. I use locast.org for the local channels. You just sign up and enter your home zip and gives you all the channels available OTA. It's not available in all markets, but I've changed my home zip before so I could watch locals in another area. The app is available on most devices had has a free version that runs an ad every 20 mins or so and you have to refresh, or there is a paid version that is like a $5/month donation. I was grandfathered in to the paid version for free last year somehow (they were offering it at the beginning of the shutdown).
  3. sounds like an alternate version of the road goes on forever and the party never ends....
  4. I'm halfway through season 2 and had a random though last night. I know tv and all and have to suspend belief and like @Gil Bang said it's time adapted, but having a hard time with the fact the county seems to have a murder every week or so and only has a 4 member SO? Either way, still enjoying it and will finish it out.
  5. Even when I am in the office, I'm technically remote. I work in a centralized accounting office, but the plant I am assigned to is based in Illinois.
  6. I started with a new company last June and was fully remote to start. They brought us back into the office in August and allowed remote work 2 days a week. My understanding was pre-covid they allowed remote work once a week, but I'm hoping this 2x a week policy stays around.
  7. Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about Longmire. Started it yesterday and am hooked.
  8. Too right is Diedrich Bader (sp?) from Drew Carey show, Napoleon Dynamite, two chicks at the same time guy in Office Space.
  9. Wow! I remember watching this with my parents after a Dixie League game (we didn't have LL in my hometown).
  10. FYI. Academy has a 4 burner outdoor gourmet for $199 (normally $299). Seems to have decent reviews as long as it stays seasoned and covered.
  11. So thankful for this program and my daily reprieve. I was presented with a legal scenario a little over a week ago that would have lead me to a drink if it weren't for the program. Instead, I see it as an opportunity to make some amends and right some wrongs of my past. Grateful to be here. It's a good day to have a good day.
  12. Wow, definitely in. Just as good as WandaVision.
  13. Probably belongs in the wives thread, but she’s ex wife now. She managed to drop her keys in that elevator gap at work once. Building maintenance had to go retrieve them.
  14. The 9/11 Memorial and Museum is one of my most memorable visits.
  15. I don't think Happy Endings was on the list either.
  16. I grew up in Carthage. Didn't know Bernie directly, but knew people that went to his church. One guy made a comment onetime that he sat in Bernie's lap when he was dressed as Santa about a week after the murder happened. Danny Buck was also my Mom's divorce attorney (prior to his DA days) when my parents divorced.
  17. For any of you dog lovers. I’d ask you look into an organization called dogs matter. They foster pets while people are in treatment. They’re based in dfw but looking to expand into Austin.
  18. I went to a Big Book study retreat this weekend with my sponsor and sponsor family hosted by my great-great-grand sponsor. There were 96 men there from 7 different states with sobriety ranging everywhere from less than week up to 40 years. A lot of knowledge, experience, and hope was shared throughout the weekend. As someone still early into this, it was eye-opening and I feel like I'm seeing the real AA for the first time. The theme of the weekend was "Above Everything". Ultimately, I have to put my sobriety above everything and the biggest way I can do that is by being of service.
  19. I learned to ignore the gym bros a long time ago. I'll just be working out at my apartment gym, which is usually empty anyway. I've lifted weights in the past, but not since high school, which at this point is 20 years ago.
