  1. I made my youngest daughter sit right here on the couch and take in the glory or the horror in all of it's visceral, raw, insanity
  2. It was still an exciting game to watch. Frustrating, but exciting. We need to celebrate the win like crazy for the next 8 days. That said, our mulligans of playing mediocre teams in the playoffs is gone. We play like this against Oregon or OSU and we get beaten. Only elite teams left.
  3. Holy shit. That took everyone, Ewers included, stepping up big in OTs. Props to the OL. They raised up another level and just stoned ASU's front 6-7 in OT. No one got near Ewers. Makuba with a play that Barron makes a lot. Knew the route that was coming from film study of formation and down/distance, and made the play like a boss. I don't know how we keep bumblefucking our way to wins, but we do it. Let's celebrate
  4. If we win this game the defense should tie him down and shave his head.
  5. I can't remember the last time I saw a team with a massive talent advantage get off to a big lead then bumblefuck it this badly. This is embarrassing to a whole new level. Charlie was embarrassing because he sucked. Herman was embarrassing because he was a raging jackass. This is embarrassing because it's such a massive waste of talent and advantage.
  6. The things I knew would get us beat in the playoffs, Ewers and Auburn, are getting us beat.
  7. Would have to see the all 22 film to know, but it seems like ASU is blitzing a ton, including a lot of run blitzes. We aren't doing well to burn that at all. Where's Wingo? Get the ball to him in space
  8. They probably are. This would have been a 30 pt half time lead with proper QB play. But now there's time to still get the win. Let's go
  9. Right when I praise the guy. Shit. Another horribly thrown ball. That thrown with zip and flat and it's 7 and game over. Once again defense has to be elite to get the win, even against a good but not great team.
  10. He bit outside then couldn't recover. The ball was thrown to the inside and short away from Mohammed. Good play from them. We were completely fooled on that call.
  11. This defense made the self proclaimed "best back in the country" say "no mas". Damn, I love these guys. Best Texas defense I've ever seen
  12. Gerry Hamilton was right about Scattebo. If you stop him from going north immediately, and he has to turn his hips, you'll stop him.
  13. Finally!! Great throw to Golden on the fade, and great decision to run it on the scramble. Should be the nail in this one if the defense and special teams hold up. Finallly I can praise him. Good job stepping up, Ewers.
  14. Throwing it into double coverage when Moore was clearing to the sideline uncovered.
  15. 95 percent the offense. 5 percent special teams. This defense is one of the most fun to watch we've ever had.
  16. A lot of their pressure is on blitzes. QB and receivers/TE have to recognize who's hot and make the play. We're surprisingly bad at executing hot routes, which is something that's been in football for decades
  17. Once again it's proven if you can stop Texas' running game you stop the offense. ASU is undersized but those dudes are flying around, beating us to spots in the zone run game. Probably need to switch to more gap and power scheme running style for the 4th quarter. Go right at them.
  18. Once again a blowout fucked away by Ewers' shittiness and Sark's stubbornness. How many times has this happened this year? This is the most underachieving Texas offense in relation to talent level I've ever seen. So damn frustrating
  19. The TE and back were eligible receivers. The back was right in front of Ewers after he got hit and fumbled. Fire it right at his feet and it's not grounding. That's shit a 4th year QB has to be able to realize and get done.
  20. Your TEs and backs are in blocking. You can fire it into the ground behind the line of scrimmage. Same as if your screen is blown up and you just fire into the ground to avoid a sack. It's a heads up play that needs to be made. Leavitt is a redshirt freshman and he's been making heads up plays throwing the ball away when necessary. Our 4th year, 3rd as a starter, QB doesn't.
  21. Should be able to block enough to get it out of the goal line area. Terrible execution all around.
  22. Ewers you fucking idiot! Throw it away! You had all sorts of time to get it out
  23. That's just stupidity from ASU at this point. To see this team on film for a month and see that aggy, Arkie, Florida, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, OU, Georgia. And Clemson couldn't short yardage us with power on goal line, and think your big 12 jag asses would be able to do it? Get the fuck outta here
