  1. What do we take? RB - only if the staff feels Baxter won't be ready? Or if they are looking to push Blue out to the portal? WR - 1 if a super productive guy is there and they feel Golden is leaving for the NFL DT - 3 have to replace the entire interior defensive line. TE - 1 unless they feel confident Niblack and Jordan Washington can take huge steps. CB - 1 if a Barron replacement is available LB - 1 OL - maybe a guard if a surprise productive guy enters?
  2. Great defensive possession to end it. Got the win.
  3. Were you in a coma during the elite 8 run? Who built that team? Who built last year's early exit team? Who built this undisciplined team? I've yet to see a single properly set and executed pick and roll for the future lottery pick 6'6" guard. They can't even do that, much less a fully functional motion offense. Just uncontrolled drives and off schedule chucking 3s with several dudes standing around. I'm convinced now Terry's job as an assistant was 100 percent recruiting.
  4. The coaching staff need to do their jobs. This is a terribly coached, undisciplined team. They work hard and have heart, but are held back by not being put in the best positions to succeed. Hope CDC is paying attention to this. This was an elite 8 program built by a quality program builder 2 years ago. Now the commentator is saying they look like a first 4 play in team.
  5. I mean if you aren't keeping the revenue from ticket sales for youself then why fuck over your fans? Make the seats the cheapest allowed
  6. Someone needs to tell Brett he's g5 now. The whining is funny. No team outside the Big 10 and SEC has the depth of legit talent to make a run like will be required to win this thing. It's going to be a war, and if you can't have the best tackle in college football go out in the first quarter then replace him with a red shirt freshman who proceeds to dominate as well? You don't have what it takes. Attrition will take all these other teams down.
  7. Yep. Bobby said DJ Sanders was the flip guy they thought was going to happen but aggy was able to keep him
  8. Yeah, his name escapes me at the moment. I think it was Lampkin but not sure. He bailed out here after signing then went to Sooner. Was a decent DT there. Got murdered by a friend and accomplice in a drug deal gone bad in South Dallas a few years ago
  9. That kid's dead. Hopefully no matter where Fasusi goes his future is better than that
  10. No shit. Dude's always wrong then comes in with "something changed! Someone stepped up!" 9.95er bullshit. His doomsayer schtick worked during the 2010s Big 13 wasteland days, but he needs to change it up now. Just this cycle alone Brandon Harris was a disaster and in over his head, Kenny Baker was a no recruiting hack disaster of a DL coach, Gideon and Joseph were terrible, we were going to have no DT recruits, etc. Here we are with one of the best DLs in the country, the best secondary in the country, the number 1 team in the nation heading into the SEC title game, and with the #1/2 recruiting class.
  11. There's no more walk ons? Hadn't heard about that.
  12. Would be better than retreading coach Bro like they're linked to now.
  13. He'll take walk ons for those, but I'm sure portal will be the top avenue. Think it would have to be an elite talent to use a scholarship on out of HS
  14. Where did he go? That's a bit surprising, guess that's an extra LB they're going to have to identify and land in the portal. Outside of an extra DT and LB the only glaring miss this cycle ended up being Dakorian Moore. But when a dude hates his family so much he's fleeing to the PNW wilderness, there's nothing you can do about that.
  15. Damn Sark, I thought you were an offensive wizard. This defensive class is a bunch of pipe hittin' mofos. That secondary class with the 2 corners and Williams/Hicks at safety is nasty. If Sark keeps this up, along with our get 2 TDs then run you into the ground on offense style, they're going to have to change the moto to All Diesel no Air Brakes.
  16. Getting swiped of recruits at the last minute by Washington and Nebraska? Low level Big 10 teams? And there's no family connection to them? Jesus, we may own the Cotton Bowl for at least half a decade.
  17. Especially at QB getting Dr Pepper commercials and whatever avenues Arch opens up the next 2 years. I never had Oklahoma becoming the SEC's new aggy on the Bingo card
  18. Vegetables never said the staff couldn't "choose" to leave on their own. Who knew Bedenbaugh wouldn't want to be co-OL coach with the new OC's chosen OL coach and take a 75% pay cut?
  19. @KniggaNoah? The kid's a joker
  20. That's weird since they live in Lewisville. Unless it's some political dumbassery and not big city
  21. Gerry made a point about their OC hire. Said he's from Washington State and has always been an air raid guy. His OL coach played OL for Leach at Tech and has been with this guy at several different stops. Does Fasusi really think he's not bringing his own guy? Does he really think air raid is the best system to develop him for the NFL? Seems kind of stupid on the surface.
  22. What does this even mean? That's a garbled mess of nonsense. You really did put thought into your user name, but you gave yourself way too much credit. I'll make it simple for your simple mind... Coach had lot talent this year from Harbaugh Coach play bad with talent. Coach show nothing to say he knows how to build program Billionaire now buy more talent Coach able to find right fit? Or billionaire just buy star ratings?
  23. That was all under Harbaugh, who is one of the best coaches in the country at evaluation and development at any level of football. Just like Chris Beard was that for us for a couple of years. It's a long shot that Moore is capable of carrying that level forward. Virtually impossible. The best thing Sark and his staff have done is evaluate not only for talent but for fit. Just buying high priced top rated guys at the signing deadline isn't going to work unless you've evaluated and gotten to know all of them and successfully deemed them fits. Does it really seem like Moore has done that here? His ability to do that will decide how successful he can be. I don't think there's any evidence currently to state he has that in him.
  24. Exactly. Also, it's fucking retarded to assume the team the guy is committed to doesn't know Texas is trying to get him. It's a negotiation. That dude and his representative are going back and forth getting $$$ offers. Just like we are doing with Charles, French, Hilson, Sharma, Fasusi, etc. Anyone who you aren't hearing about right now already played that game before and made their decision, and doesn't care to try to renegotiate now. There's no secret recruitment where a guy is getting a big offer then not going to the team he's committed to with the offer and asking to match or up the ante.
