  1. I had no idea this season was going on until I came across this on the ESPN app. Apparently they've actually sort of made it as a League now since they've found people who give enough of a shit about them to hate them on social media. Something they clearly aren't used to. They should get ahold of the NBA players to ask them how to handle it. Hilarious they actually think the league can do anything about social media trolls. Newsflash, Americans are at least 50 percent shit human beings.
  2. So what happens on the NIL front in situations like this? Does the collective pull any further funding past this season if Sark wants him out, and that immediately gets him to bail?
  3. This kid didn't ruin any brand value. If he performed on the field to the level other bigger programs than UNLV were throwing way more $$$ offers to him to redshirt and transfer then he's still going to get one of those. He'll be playing somewhere next year and getting paid more. No one will care.
  4. I only knew it was Brandon Harris during the summer when CTJ was running his ass down in the 9.95 recruiting threads when Dakorian Moore and a few others committed elsewhere. Haven't seen anyone saying he doesn't know what he's doing these days...
  5. This is just the bad business of having players getting paid in any official above board capacity. It's going to happen. Let's assume the kid got what he was promised and is bailing because after he won those 3 games other programs came with way more money than he's making this year. I assume he's been paid for this year partially but not entirely. Yes, it makes him a huge asshole to quit on his team. Yes, it's completely immoral to do it. But... He's never going to sniff an NFL roster. If I have it correctly this is his final season of college football eligibility if he doesn't redshirt. By bailing now he has the opportunity to add potentially another $750k+ for next year most likely? If he's smart with his money, lives frugally, and he invests it that's potentially life changing money that he can use to limit the amount of time in his life he has to work a real soul sucking job. Honestly, it sucks but if you have that opportunity it's hard to pass it up.
  6. You may be saying that now, but you weren't quite saying that 5 hours ago.
  7. It's pretty simple isn't it. The question is who is lying? Who has receipts? Show them
  8. The biggest problem with Dak is inconsistency with accuracy. Throws high a lot. Throws low a lot. Throws behind guys. That's doable if you're on a rookie contract and they surrounded you with some top end weapons. Not good when you're eating a ton of the cap and they're surrounding you with Schoonmaker, Jaylen Tolbert and Jaylen Brooks. Asking low level receivers to have to work to make catches only pro bowl level guys routinely make is a big problem.
  9. It's the 4 highest ranked conference champions get byes. So if Okie St or Utah or whoever wins the Big 12 and are 1 of the 4 highest ranked conference champions they'll get a bye. And if we win the SEC that means a Big 12 and ACC champion probably gets the likes of Georgia, Alabama, or Ole Miss in round 2
  10. So he technically removed himself from FSU? I guess he could mean that but it still feels like a flip. I was thinking he meant hasn't committed yet, but I could be reading that wrong.
  11. Jerry isn't hiring a guy who is an even bigger diva and attention whore than he is. The next hire should be a young offensive mind that's excelling in the league. Joe Brady is reinvigorating a Bills offense that got stale. Someone like that should be the hire. Instead he'll hire a retread.
  12. Gerry said this morning there's 1 uncommitted "Hi" left. Aren't the only two uncommitted guys we've been recruiting long enough to have a silent from Terry and Faraimo? I can't see Faraimo as a silent so I'm guessing he means Terry.
  13. The top 4 seeds with the bye are conference champions right? Then they would all be in line to play each other if the chalk holds, and only one of them can be SEC. So that scenario has us as the SEC champion #1 seed in the semi finals while Georgia and Alabama score "upsets" over 2-4 seeds from other conferences.
  14. It's amazing how a mediocre QB who has had shit coaches and shit personnel around him amazingly looks a lot better with legit coaching and better talent around him. It's almost like QBs can't win by themselves and paying them like they can is stupid.
  15. The second after Saban's retirement announcement went out Sark was already at Bond's house making the move. He knew speed that can catch when he saw it and he went quick after it. Unlike post 2007 Mack he doesn't settle for easy. And conversely, unlike the next two dodos, he doesn't make thing unnecessarily hard for himself either.
  16. Nope, Ole Miss is the flagship in the Klan state. So they're just Klan. Miss St is the retard little brother who couldn't locate their dick with the James Webb telescope. That makes them aggy. Klan aggy
  17. This morning Burton said he refused to go in the game late and his teammates were very insistent that he get his ass in the game. He didn't expound any more on it after that, just said Sark knows how to handle these things, and with the culture in the room, it'll be handled the best way possible. I'm thinking this might end up a Kris Ross situation pretty quickly If Mitchell doesn't convince them he's going to get his shit together right now.
  18. All of that is why it made perfect sense to let Dak walk (if you couldn't get him to waive the no trade), trade Ceedee, trade Micah, and use the extra money and all those picks to start rebuilding on both defensive and offensive lines first. Sign a journeyman Mayfield/Darnold type guy for $25 Mil a year and try to build a strong running game. Instead they loaded all of their cap on Dak and Ceedee with garbage lines for them to work with. It's an incongruent plan of building a roster. They're way too top heavy and don't have the room to build up DL now. He's talking about Rico
  19. So Mel kiper went on a rant about potentially banning the two high safety look because it's forcing teams to have to run the ball which is making the NFL boring. While I don't agree with that, it does underscore a major problem with how the Cowboys are constructed. If the two high safety look is going to force teams to run the ball much more than in previous years, then having a running back worth a damn and an offensive line that can get a push is more important than a $60 million decent, but inconsistent and inaccurate quarterback. The Cowboys are built completely wrong as an offense to punish the teams that want to play two high and limit their passing game. That's forcing an inconsistent quarterback to have to drive the field with a lot of short throws and with a running game that's probably the worst in the league. Add their terrible run defense to that equation, and it's a recipe for a disastrous year
  20. It's the "it's a rating" meme going to be blasted here multiple times every loss now?
  21. Atlanta just can't get out of their own way. They'll play good enough to be right there at the end but will inevitably fuck up and go down. They had that game in hand on that last drive and got predictable. Couldn't tell if the Chiefs run blitzed that 4th and 1 but Bijan got hit as soon as he touched the ball.
  22. Garbage time TD! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh
