  1. I'm kind of addicted to these things...
  2. Unless it’s international (or private), I will never not fly Southwest again. Y’all can hate all you want, but SW is far superior to every other commercial airline in just about every conceivable aspect. I just went through 2 days of hell with AA out of DFW trying to get to Oregon. Two canceled flights, 2 lost bags, and the better part of 2 days spent (mostly at the DFW airport) later, finally said fuck this shit, canceled the whole damn thing, and booked Southwest out of Love. Holy shit it was night and day different. Polar opposite experiences…anyone preferring AA and DFW must be a fucking moron. DFW and AA literally felt like a 3rd world country and SW and Love comparatively felt like flying private out of a boutique luxury resort. No cancellations, no delays, no lost bags, the people were nicer, every surface was cleaner, MUCH less crowded, the food tasted better, the air was fresher, the women were hotter. Okay, so the cattle call boarding thing can be slightly inconvenient, but if you’re halfway competent at all, it’s really easy to navigate. I’ve been flying SW almost exclusively for damn near 15 years and I have very rarely not had an aisle seat toward the front. And if I didn’t, it was my fault. I’m not saying I’ve never had a problem on SW…delays and cancelations happen. But it’s very rare. Don’t think they’ve ever lost a bag (maybe 1 in 15 years). But I am saying that, with almost zero exceptions, the few times I’ve cheated on SW and tried another airline, there has been some kind of problem. And it’s usually something pretty egregious which is always met with horrendous customer service (if you can even call it that). Never again. If Southwest doesn’t fly there, I don’t need to go there.
  3. Went to Las Palmas last weekend and we thought it was outstanding. Bold statement time...it was some of the best queso and cheese enchiladas I've ever had. Wife got the puerco enguisado and it was amazing too. From everything we tried, I'd put their food up against just about any Tex Mex place in town. They must be doing something right because the place was packed the whole time we were there. We walked in at about 5:00 on Saturday thinking we were really early and wouldn't need a reservation and were told they were "fully committed until 9:30" by the hostess. So, we ended up eating at the bar, which was first come first serve. Lucky we even got seats there. For the most part, the bar seats stayed completely full with lots of people lurking to try to snag seats when people got up, which rarely happened. The space feels like it's been there forever and kind of makes you feel like you're not in Dallas. We were also pleasantly surprised that the crowd didn't have too much of an uptown feel to it. Overall great experience top to bottom and will definitely go back.
  4. And masturbating on them isn’t illegal, but it is frowned upon
  5. I love it when the New York thread gets all New York-ie. Really adds to the authenticity.
  6. No I’m not. I’ve always liked you. I am vaccinated, and think everyone should be. I’m likely completely aligned with you on your stance on what we should all be doing. Where we differ is I don’t think if someone’s opinion on the matter isn’t the same as mine, they are a piece of shit for it or should go fuck themselves. By definition, that kind of makes you the asshole here. Well, you and @Spankytoes. Anyone from Long Island is an asshole 😂
  7. Way to completely miss the point. The point is that it’s horribly hypocritical for people to arbitrarily decide where we should draw the line on this thing as to what’s acceptable from an exposure/precaution standpoint. Fuck you, you’re a piece of shit because you travel without being vaccinated. But I’m okay to go out without a mask whenever I want because I have been vaccinated. To be 100% responsible and not a shitty, inconsiderate piece of shit, you really have to go on complete isolated lockdown. Everything outside of that is just whatever people are comfortable with, so why is one person’s comfort level okay but someone else’s makes them a selfish piece of shit?
  8. But you can still carry covid if you’re vaccinated. And masks may not be that effective, plus you gotta take them off to eat. So isn’t the really unselfish thing to do just to stay home entirely? Or you just get to decide where to draw the line on shittiness levels of people? Got it.
  9. So the official new moral line drawn is that we just have to be vaccinated then we can go wherever we want? Without masks right? Or we can go out, but only with a mask and vaccine? Or do we all need to stay home to really do our part? I can't keep up anymore.

    Dallas | Pizza

Tried this last night. I'll be damned...we were really pleasantly surprised. If they can keep up that level of quality, it will likely be our new go-to. Although Bona has been pretty solid lately, it just has so much grease and we always feel pretty shitty afterward. This PT place just tasted fresher and better all the way around. Way better than what I remember from the couple times we tried the Pie Tap location over on Knox/Henderson. Felt a little more Italian and a little less greek, which I prefer. And they were a lot nicer and seemed to have their shit together more at PT than Bona (that place is consistently rude and often incompetent). I went and picked it up myself since it's so close to the house, plus their delivery is through GrubHub (or whatever) and fuck that shit. So it was piping hot when I got it home. Space was just like the name says and felt more like a small neighborhood pizza joint than a large restaurant/bar that serves pizza that is Pie Tap. It was a pretty cool little spot and there were a couple tables of people eating there. Plus you can apparently get it all by the slice, so I would definitely eat there for lunch or dinner. I got the Carnivore. According to the menu, it was supposed to have calabrian peppers, but I didn't see any, which was fine because I almost held them anyway... Wife got the Chicken Bacon Alfredo. I'm more of a purist when it comes to pizza and don't usually like tricked up fufu pizzas like that, but it was really outstanding... Only complaint overall is that they don't take their toppings quite far enough to the edge so you get a pretty big crust. Luckily their crust is great though, so not a huge deal. And we ordered 3 dipping sauces and they only gave us one, but they didn't charge us for any of them, so whatever. I guess the delivery guy should have checked the order a little closer. Will definitely eat again.
  11. Loved it. Knew Jorge Valdes personally years ago so it hit close to home.
  12. I've always heard/known these are a huge ripoff, but what is it that actually gets you? Hidden fees? Lack of resale? Whynotboth?
  13. Also known as..."my bitch mother died and left me with a ton of debt"
  14. So Julie and Danny are fucking? Or...who's in the library with a candlestick?
  15. Am I allowed to agree with everything Jub said, but also agree with @mdmost that Jub gets too emotional sometimes and it's not a good look? Or nah? Although, I guess I can argue that it's not Jub's worst look. Tone-deaf Jub calling others out for anything musical, including but not limited to, being tone-deaf is the worst Jub.
  16. Fuck him and fuck you. didn’t listen…what’d he say?
  17. I'll be damned if ol' Melinda doesn't make a handful of different spicy ketchups. Great, now I gotta buy them all...
