Yikes. I know shit like this happens at a lot of restaurants (at a lot of companies in general for that matter), but this hits pretty close to home. I used to have the plaintiff on speed dial before he left and we still go to Drake's at least once a week. All I'll say is...if that place has a discrimination problem, then every single place in America has one. It's one of the most diverse (staff and customers) places we ever go.
From a staff standpoint, we personally know plenty of gays, women and just about every race under the sun. And from a customer standpoint, I (generic middle aged white guy) am often in the minority, and sometimes by a long-shot.
Maybe all the shit he's alleging was happening before he left and Drakes has swung things the other way to combat it? Or maybe he's just a disgruntled employee looking to cash in? Who the hell knows, but sucks either way.
