  1. I've got a lot of the hot sauces in this thread and, just generally speaking without going into specific flavors, I rank them... 1 - Marie Sharps 2 - Melindas 3 - everything else Here's my current collection...
  2. What's the difference between Marie Sharp's "Smoked Habenero Pepper Sauce" and the "Smokin Marie"? Just different packaging? Different heat levels? Different smoke levels? Which one is better? Or...
  3. Another Weber gimmick. Did Weber jump the shark? They've missed on everything they've done lately. Their Big Green Egg competitor, Weber Charcoal Grill Series, was overpriced and marketed wrong, so much so that they had to completely revamp it a year later to introduce the Weber Kamado Series for less money and with an appropriate name. Then their pellet smokers, the Weber Smokefire Series, rolled out with huge problems to horrendous reviews (I think there may have even been a recall on them). They're now offering a "2nd Generation" version less than a year in and it looks like they've somehow padded the shit out of their own reviews. Over 100 glowing reviews in the last 4 months - a lot of the standard grills on their site don't have 100 reviews over several years. Now this shit.... Introducing Weber Smart Grills...no room for error, only perfectly grilled food Cool, set it and forget it technology like a pellet smoker, only for a grill? No. It's just a regular grill, but it has a meat thermometer mounted on the front. For an extra $250. What. The. Fuck. It's not a smart grill. They don't even do a very good job of trying to hide what it really is. That must be one hell of a meat thermometer. I've always loved Weber, but that kind of shit drives me crazy. Talk about insulting your customers. Not sure what's going on over there, but they need some new decision makers.
  4. Just in time for Easter I guess? 🤷‍♂️
  5. I mean, anyone standing in line for the grand opening of a FUCKING GAS STATION...probably a fat ass.
  6. I’ve been to the one in Houston. Let’s just say it should fit in quite well in that part of uptown.
  7. Much more importantly...spent our first night on the new boat last night. We’re keeping it
  8. Damn that statement couldn’t be truer. I’m gonna blame mrs landomatic for that
  9. This ^ could not have said it better myself
  10. Why Titos and Grey Goose? If you have to ask...
  11. Yeah well, it’s better than The Bands of Your Life bit (which you seemed pretty into)...but that didn’t stop them from running that thing straight into the fucking ground. Both had a shelf life of about 1 or maaaaaybe 2 times.
  12. Is this a compliment or an insult? Wait, who the hell am I kidding? I forgot where I was for a second...of course it's an insult. I just don't know what it means.
  13. Yeah I guess so. Who the hell knows?!?
  14. One for the dock and one for the boat. In my defense, it’s mostly for the stripper. There will be strippers...right?
  15. Did I mention I got a new boat? Here's a picture...
  16. Yes, please! Looks like an amazing trip. I miss Miami.
  17. Or, if you’re like me and never think that far in advance, move from freezer to counter by around 3:00-4:00 PM. Will easily be thawed in time for dinner at a reasonable hour.
  18. Surly Horns...changing the world tens of fucks given at a time.
  19. This thread delivers. Probably should have a big red banner at the top of every page. It's that awesome.
  20. I’m sure I’ll be fine.
  21. This one's for you @troph. Mrs Landomatic and I spent the day finally getting all our shit moved in to the new boat.
  22. Must depend on the daughter. My step daughter literally picked her school based almost solely on which one her father wanted her to go to, despite her mother's and my wishes. Granted, she has daddy issues and all she's ever wanted from him is the attention she never gets. But that's another story. So, maybe be thankful your daughter's daddy issues aren't as bad as they could be. In most cases, whoever is willing to pay for it has the final say in where the kid goes to school. Don't want your daughter to go to aggy, tell them they can pay for all of it themselves. All the sudden UT and Wisky start looking much better. Outside of a full ride or a court mandated tuition agreement as part of a divorce decree (I'll let you guess which one I fall under), I can't see where this wouldn't be the case. Outside of veterinary medicine, not so much.
  23. Y’all want a great boot, that fits right...try Rod Patrick’s. Great boots and a great guy who runs the place named Bobby. Based in Ft Worth. Every size and skin under the sun. Thank me later.
  24. I have the weber one at my boat slip and it does great. Got the stand for it and a griddle for one side. You probably don't need the griddle if it's for your house (because you'll have a kitchen for that type of cooking), but I wanted the diversity for the slip as it is my only real means of cooking. I can cook just about anything on it. Full disclosure, I'm a huge weber fanboi so they really can't do much wrong in my eyes. And I lived at a condo a few years back that didn't allow any grills on the patios but had some public grills and I confirm with 100% certainty that using the public grills was a giant pain in the balls. Between the trips back and forth and the fact that they didn't cook all that great, I opted to not grill rather than have to use those.
