    Behind a paywall...can't see shit.
  2. George's definition of "a real hit on our hands" and mine are two very different things. His lack of musical talent is nothing if not consistent.
  3. I have this one. Got it "free" with some appliances we got for a kitchen remodel. It's fine, but it's nothing special. Really glad I didn't pay full retail for it. Amazon showing it for $740. Seems a little steep for what it is. https://www.amazon.com/stores/Wolf+Gourmet/page/C1F3F000-6EA1-4F52-BD34-B7504D9B27C8?ref_=ast_bln
  4. Few different posts in this thread got me thinking...do ya'll refrigerate your hot sauces after opening? Or just keep them in a cabinet/pantry at room temperature? Or refrigerate some and keep some at room temp? I've always just kept all of them at room temp as I kind of figured if restaurants are keeping them out on the table all day, then it must be fine to store them at room temp. But when I got the Truff ones, I noticed they say to refrigerate after opening so I keep it in the refrigerator. Also just noticed the Secret Aardvark (just ordered) says the same. Haven't really checked my others. What says Surly?
  5. Leftover bag of Popeyes in the pantry shoulda told ya.
  6. I would hope so. Hell I thought that was the whole reason for buying a boat
  7. I'm changing mine to...
  8. Delayed. She's currently sitting in the parking lot in the Michigan marina covered in 2 feet of snow.
  9. Probably a dumb question, but what does this quote mean? Seen it a few times in various boating forums.
  10. Spent about a week there a few years ago and the thing that stands out the most was having a really fun day at Morada Bay in Islamorada. Really cool super chill beach restaurant and bar. Live music, felt more Caribbean and less Florida tourism than pretty much everything else we did on the trip. Wife and daughter (no pics) loved it. Chartered a really cheap fishing trip one day and apparently you get what you pay for because it suuuucked. Fucking thing was basically an overgrown canoe and it could not handle things once we got very far offshore. So pay extra for a better boat on that. At least get something with a bathroom...the girls were none too happy when told by our guide that they’d have to use a bucket if they needed to go. We turned back after being out for about 20 mins. It was miserable.
  11. With commentary from derka for the whole 5 hours.
  12. Yeah, I know...I just wanted to reminisce. sighhhhhh
  13. Will you go have drinks at King Cole at the St Regis before dinner, then to Babbo for dinner, then Bemelmans for drinks after for me? And if you could just live stream it or FaceTime with me for all of it...that would be great. TIA
  14. Do you even private cabana to get out of the heat, bro? Seriously though, that pool sports book looks badass. Kinda falls under the, why isn’t every other resort already doing that? category. I mean there are table games at all the pools. Why not a sports book.
  15. Pete’s Cafe? Spent many hungover mornings there. So great.
  16. As do I about people who can't take one back.
  17. Surprised JM didn't implement that policy. Would have gone well with his "Customer is Always Wrong" theme.
  18. Haha no. It leaves Michigan this coming Monday and is supposed to be here Wednesday the 10th. It's wrapped and winterized plus it's supposed to get down to like 20 degrees here next week, so no telling when I'll actually be able to get on it.
  19. Bread ranks dead last at BBQ joints for prioritizing available space in your stomach. Neg to anyone wasting valuable stomach space on generic bread when there are much better options readily available. Now, if you find yourself at a joint where the bread is better than the meats and sides, like in Kansas City or something, then...well, you should leave.
  20. The good ones perform better when they’re impressed. Or so I’ve heard.
  21. I’ll probably order pizza right around halftime and have it show up in about 2 hours, room temperature with the order wrong. The American way
  22. Not sure if mentioned, but Melindas is really really good. Stumbled onto it by accident when our instacart shopper accidentally brought us a bag from someone else’s order. Outstanding.
  23. Those room designs do nothing for me. They look trendy and very unimaginative. And the fact that the writer of that article calls them "sexy af" tells me I'm probably right.
  24. Why not just watch it with the English voiceover on? Much better experience than having to read the whole time IMO. And Lupin wasn’t great. Lupin was somewhere between meh and great. It wasn’t even as good as White Lines, which I’m not even sure I’d call great. I’d call it more like “pretty fucking good”
