  1. Trump watched those old codgers light up Grassley at his town hall, and it gave him pause, which rarely happens. Of course he gave the okay.
  2. Since it is a well known and established fact that criminals commit crime where they roost, race related crime is not all that common.
  3. The billionaire preacher who bought this bill is the founder of Midland Classical Academy. Now, all of his friends get a 10k break on tuition. A lot of skulduggery was necessary to create this coincidence.
  4. They’re getting closer:
  5. “Oops” is the standard response for the Trump regime, followed by “so fucking what?”
  6. Ten grand is gonna put a nice dent in that Jesuit tuition bill.
  7. Mass Shootings that don’t end in death get a “meh.” We’re in Texas.
  8. Farxiga treats redness and bacterial infection between the anus and genitals.
  9. Let’s face it. Resonant messaging for Democrats will always be an issue because Republicans can and do craft easy to understand lies formulated for people who want to be lied to.
  10. After losing to the AP in court, this is how Trump and the Pep Sec’y are responding: The White House is making changes to which outlets are included in the press pool covering President Trump, and doing away with the spot normally reserved for wire services covering his daily activities. A source in the West Wing confirmed the changes to The Hill on Tuesday evening and said moving forward, the press pool will be made up of the following group: one print journalist who will serve as the “print pooler” each day, one additional print journalist, a crew from one of the major television networks, a crew from a secondary television network or streaming service, one radio journalist, one “new media” or independent journalist and four photojournalists. The White House official said eligible outlets will be chosen for the pool on a rotating basis, and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will retain day-to-day discretion to determine composition of the pool.
  11. Trump’s DOJ has sued Maine because their governor has the nerve to talk back to him: https://www.politico.com/news/2025/04/11/military-contractors-prison-plan-detained-immigrants-erik-prince-00287208 It is unclear how many transgender students are currently participating in school athletics in Maine. The Maine Principals' Association, MPA, which governs the state's athletics, has said there are just two transgender athletesinvolved in girls' high school sports this year. The DOJ's suit refers to at least three transgender athletes.
  12. People dislike immigration except for all the times when they directly or indirectly benefit from it. Let’s keep it 100.
  13. This is how Trump plans to eventually ship Americans off to El Salvador. Don’t think this can’t happen. Hitler made it happen. Auschwitz is not in Germany. It’s in Poland. And, oh, Eric Prince is the personification of evil: https://www.politico.com/news/2025/04/11/military-contractors-prison-plan-detained-immigrants-erik-prince-00287208 Former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince and a team of defense contractors are pitching the White House on a plan to vastly expand deportations to El Salvador — transporting thousands of immigrants from U.S. holding facilities to a sprawling maximum security prison in Central America. The proposal, exclusively obtained by POLITICO, says it would target “criminal illegal aliens” and would attempt to avoid legal challenges by designating part of the prison — which has drawn accusations of violence and overcrowding from human rights groups — as American territory.
  14. In the Trump regime’s letter to Harvard demanding a complete eradication of diversity, equity and inclusion, they, in that very same letter, demanded Harvard implement “viewpoint diversity” throughout the university. Somebody should tell them…
  15. I hate these people. Please don’t turn me in.
  16. Serious question. Has Trump lifted the tariff on smart phones and electronics?
  17. The only reason Tech is mentioned at all is because they’ve been throwing around money like crazy lately. Don’t think California helicopter dad and West Texas grit are a good mix.
  18. Dan Hurley’s approach may be appropriate for such a time as this. When sizing a kid up, he says he sizing the parents up as well, since they’re a package deal.
  19. There’s some awfully wrong about this. Deals are worth more than 600 million. Five More Big Law Firms Reach Deals With Trump Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, A&O Shearman, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft agreed to do free legal work on causes the White House supports. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/11/business/trump-law-firms-kirkland-ellis-latham-watkins.html
  20. Trump is such a malignant narcissist: https://www.yahoo.com/news/painting-iconic-trump-raised-fist-201116831.html
  21. My money was on him becoming the Sec’y of ‘Rasslin and Shootin’. But Trump gave the job to Linda McMahon.
  22. Facilitate and effectuate in context mean all deliberate speed, which means nothing
  23. How anyone, including his supporters could think this is okay is beyond me. It’s chilling:
  24. The bill does not say who gets to decide if the teaching is accurate or factual. That could be a problem.
  25. Circa 2016: The “Real Time” host made his case that nobody fits the stereotypically ’50s description of women better than the modern-day Trump. “Irrational, pouty, vain, thin-skinned, hysterical and just not that bright, does that sound like anyone we know today?” the comic said. “Who gets more hysterical than Lady Donald Trump…Maher goes on to call Trump a “whiny little bitch” numerous times.
