  1. Why is that? A bullet nicked his ear, or so it seems.
  2. Have the media moved on from trying to find out the extent of Trump’s ear injury. There’s a lot we still don’t know.
  3. And just like that. Part of the evangelical Notre Dame gone in a poof.
  4. That’s preferable to a long drawn out painful withering away with the same result.
  5. The donor class of the Democratic Party and their minions have done much more to harm their chances than in November than any bad debate performance could ever do. They must really want bitcoin deregulation too.
  6. Looks like the old church building. I don’t think the 130 million dollar new building has been touched.
  7. Clip of Ole Miss student making racist gestures at Black woman played at RNC sparks backlash A video played at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Wednesday evening included a clip of a white University of Mississippi student making monkey gestures at a Black woman on campus earlier this year. The video, meant to praise anti-“woke” college students, used a clip from early May in which pro-Palestinian demonstrators — protesting the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza — and counterprotesters confronted each other. https://www.yahoo.com/news/clip-ole-miss-student-making-181001781.html
  8. You should read Heather McGee’s, The Sum of Us, or catch her Ted Talk. Some of the stuff Trump is planning to harm others, will end up harming you as well, and you won’t even see it coming, because you believe you’re safe.
  9. Is DEI now a slur in Maga land?
  10. They’re now being called “earpons”
  11. Chuckle, the Republican Party will not be in control of all 3 branches of government. Stop with that foolishness.
  12. I think there’ll be some ass dragging in Chicago: https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2024/07/teamsters-sean-obrien-rnc-hawley-trump-labor-union.html# Many Democrats are no doubt fuming that O’Brien is playing footsie with Trump even though Trump and his party opposed what was long the Teamsters’ No. 1 legislative priority, the Butch Lewis Emergency Pension Relief Act, a bill that devotes $86 billion in federal funds to rescuing the pensions of over 2 million union members, including over 400,000 Teamsters. After the Democrat-controlled House passed the bill in 2019, Trump and the GOP-controlled Senate did nothing to advance it. After Biden was elected, he successfully pushed to enact the Teamsters-backed legislation. The House approved it, with Democrats voting 235 to 0 in favor and Republicans voting overwhelmingly against, 29 to 168. The Butch Lewis Act was passed in 2021 as part of the American Rescue Plan that not one Republican senator voted for
  13. I’m all in on 13 for 13. We have to reverse some shit.
  14. As is always the case in these shootings, people spend an inordinate amount of time trying to determine why these things keep happening. The kid had a gun and an opportunity presented itself. There’s also a simpler explanation. The kid could just not have liked bullies, having been bullied himself. Trump is a bully.
  15. The documents case will go forward. But it will only be after all of Trump’s appeals are exhausted. The courts colluded to make sure that would be the case, long past the election.
  16. The Dem ass draggers in the shit talking caucus should be able to have fun with Vance’s criticisms of Trump. Calling him “ cultural heroin” was memorable. Idiot works as well.
  17. Since we can no longer expect judges to self regulate when it comes to conflicts of interest, we should codify a standard that governs what they are. And we should begin with making it unlawful for a judge to sit in judgement of matters involving the person who appointed them.
  18. If anybody is interested in knowing what P25 will look and feel like when operationalized, look no further than Cannon documents case dismissal. 25 years of precedence down the drain with this decision. Anybody who believes Trump didn’t know she was going to throw this out is not paying attention : Justice Thomas's 'Cannon-currence' worked,” law professor Leah Litman tweeted after Cannon's ruling came out. “In the Trump immunity case, Justice Thomas wrote separately to suggest the special counsel was unlawfully appointed; the reasoning laid out the roadmap for this (wrong) result/decision.” https://theintercept.com/2024/07/15/trump-classified-documents-immunity-clarence-thomas/#:~:text=“Justice Thomas's 'Cannon-currence,wrong) result%2Fdecision.”
  19. If the Sec commissioner croaked tomorrow, Yormark would be the at the top the candidate list.
