  1. Is there anything left for New Yorkers to learn about Donald Trump.?
  2. Speaking of which…when Trump was recently asked if he still supported Mark Robinson, whom he called “MLK on steroids”, Trump said he wasn’t familiar with that race at all. Surprised?
  3. When he couldn’t bribe Zelensky, he developed a bone marrow hatred for Ukraine…because daddy Putin told him to.
  4. From Reuters: U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will not appear on popular podcaster Joe Rogan's program, a spokesperson for her campaign said on Thursday. Harris' team had been in touch with Rogan's program about a possible appearance, but scheduling did not line up, spokesperson Ian Sams said on MSNBC. "We talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast. Unfortunately it isn't going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this ... period of the campaign," Sam said. Whats your source, again?
  5. Sadly, this is what the WAPO and the LA Times have done, owner’s prerogative notwithstanding.
  6. I was somewhat confident until James Comey’s October surprise.
  7. The first lesson in Professor Timothy Snyder’s On Tyranny, is - Do Not Obey in Advance. He explains: ”Most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, and then offer themselves up without being asked. A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do.”
  8. A Texas man who wore a hat supporting former President Donald Trump punched an election worker who told him that wearing items endorsing a candidate are prohibited at voting sites, a sheriff said Friday. The election worker, identified as a 69-year-old man, was treated at the scene Thursday and returned to his election post at a San Antonio library on Friday, officials said. The suspect was arrested on felony charges of assaulting an elderly person and could face additional charges, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said.

  10. Why is Musk talking with Putin? Is he Trump’s intermediary? https://www.yahoo.com/news/heres-look-musks-contact-putin-172117927.html Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of major government contractor SpaceX and a key ally of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has been in regular contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin for the last two years, The Wall Street Journal reported. A person familiar with the situation, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter, confirmed to The Associated Press that Musk and Putin have had contact through calls. The person didn't provide additional details about the frequency of the calls, when they occurred or their content. Musk, the world's richest man who also owns Tesla and the social platform X, has emerged as a leading voice on the American right. He's poured millions of dollars into Trump's presidential bid and turned the platform once known as Twitter into a site popular with Trump supporters, as well as conspiracy theorists, extremistsand Russian propagandists. Musk's contacts with Putin raise national security questions, given his companies' work for the government, and highlight concerns about Russian influence in American politics.
  11. Not sure where to put this, but I’m really beginning not to like the billionaire class. The Washington Post is joining the LA Times in declining to make a presidential endorsement. It’s being reported that the Harris endorsement had been prepared and was ready to go and “somebody” said no.
  12. Texas has outlawed DEI in a public education system that is not diverse, equitable or sufficiently inclusive.

Can you imagine getting this call about your loved one? https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/crime/man-obsessed-with-coworker-shot-killed-her-over-long-work-breaks-north-texas-police-say/287-7bf65ca9-b8c5-434a-81f3-c7a936e62326 LEWISVILLE, Texas — A North Texas man who harbored an obsession with a female co-worker now faces murder charges after police said he ambushed her at her cubicle shooting her multiple times. Travis Merrill, 51, was arrested on Oct. 17 in the fatal shooting of Tamhara Collazo, whom he worked with at Allegiance Trucking in Lewisville. Lewisville police officers responded quickly because the department’s temporary building shares a parking lot with the trucking accessory company on Lakeway Drive. Police say that Merrill opened fire after Collazo came back from a lunch break. She suffered five gunshot wounds and was rushed to a hospital but died from her injuries. According to the police affidavit, Merrill agreed to speak with the detective on the case. Merrill confessed to the shooting, telling police he was "obsessed with Collazo and became increasingly angry" over what Merrill considered "unauthorized long breaks" and her "not paying any attention" to him.
  14. You’d have to know what’s its life to have to attend to aging family members who often just exist in senior care facilities, to truly understand the enormous benefit of KH’s proposal to provide long term in home healthcare for a broader group of seniors.
  15. Great idea. 60 Minutes should do one its special 90 minute editions during which all of these former Trump supporters share anecdotal evidence about how much is at stake in this election. The point should be to scare America back to normalcy.
  16. This. I’m not convinced he’s all that great at reading audiences when you check out the audiences he’s reading.
  17. I agree. You think Trump knows Hitler’s generals tried to murder him three times?
  18. Well, at least he has his law license to fall back on, no wait!
  19. If you look closely, you can see butter and crumbs in the corners of his mouth.
