  1. While playing the my atrocity is better than your atrocity game, I don’t think there’s been a more critical time in history for us to be serious about our information hygiene.
  2. This is tee shirt and bumper sticker worthy.
  3. Israel should focus on clearing out Hamas and not the Palestinian people.
  4. Very true. The Hamas terrorists are fighting a proxy war for Iran and Russia.
  5. If I stole 100 dollars out of the bank till, used it to make 1000 at the track and later put the 100 back in the till, didn’t I profit from a crime? And isn’t that the argument being made by NY state?
  6. That anybody could characterize Bibi’s apartheid government as too lenient and nice is crazy.
  7. Heard an Israeli official say today that Israel was committed to “crushing the spirit” of the attackers. Really? Israel has two options. It can pursue a Palestinian holocaust or it can become a peacemaker instead of a hegemonic peacekeeper. Doing so would require Israel abandon its commitment to an apartheid state in the West Bank. It’s virtually impossible to crush the spirit of oppressed people.
  8. They understand better than most that if all the Palestinians in Gaza are allowed to do is devise ways to attack the oppressor, they’ll never experience a sustained peace.
  9. Saw an interview with a former US ambassador to Israel just a bit ago. He believes Israeli citizens have grown weary of the typical military response that only serves to perpetuate the status quo in the region in the aftermath of these bloody conflicts. He believes Israelis want peace that only can only be achieved by changing the way Israel approaches the Palestinian problem.
  10. Gaetz is on tape telling the truth for once. Republicans are the most cynical people alive: https://www.yahoo.com/news/during-online-fundraiser-matt-gaetz-110000805.html Days before Rep. Matt Gaetz led an effort to oust Kevin McCarthy as House speaker, Gaetz and Rep. Matt Rosendale, a fellow Freedom Caucus member, denounced as a political stunt Republicans’ high-stakes effort to impeach President Joe Biden, according to a video obtained by NBC News. At an invitation-only fundraiser held over Zoom last week, Gaetz, R-Fla., and Rosendale, who is said to be plotting another Senate run next year, heaped skepticism on the probe. “I don’t believe that we are endeavoring upon a legitimate impeachment of Joe Biden,” Gaetz told Steve Bannon, a podcaster and onetime political adviser to former President Donald Trump, who was moderating the discussion. As they fielded questions from high-dollar conservative donors, Gaetz and Rosendale were just days away from moving to end McCarthy’s speakership — and tipping the Republican caucus into its own protracted battle over who will lead the conference. Gaetz, Rosendale and the small faction of Republicans who ousted McCarthy, R-Calif., still hold tremendous leverage as the House tries to find a replacement. Whether the group could seek to use that leverage to extract concessions from the future speaker — including how the House proceeds on issues like impeachment — is yet to be seen. One of the impeachment leaders is also a candidate for speaker, Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio. During the fundraiser, Rosendale joined Gaetz in denouncing the Republicans’ hotly tipped impeachment inquiry. Rosendale likened Congress’ probe of Biden to the federal indictment of the president’s son Hunter, which critics say has been tainted by preferential treatment and argue is a “smokescreen” intended to deflect attention from more serious crimes they accuse Hunter Biden of having committed, like working for foreign interests to influence U.S. policy. “They’re doing the exact same thing,” Rosendale said. Gaetz said: “I just don’t get the sense that it’s for the sake of impeachment. I think it’s for the sake of having another bad thing to say about Joe Biden.”
  11. It’s true. Everything Trump touches goes broke.
  12. For its part, Code Pink said there "has been some confusion about an image that was taken w/ CODEPINK volunteers & Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green." "MTG opportunistically approached our volunteers in a parking lot on the Hill and she requested they take a photo together," she said Wednesday. "Our volunteers weren’t sure how to respond & immediately reached out to us about what happened after the fact. This picture was not initiated by our organization," the group clarified.
  13. All true. And as i have said d before old folks should not have to take out a loan to pay for critical dental work.
  14. Normally, MTG and Boebert would be mugging for the cameras and making fools of themselves. Why have they been so quiet?
  15. He blames McCarthy for his ethics investigation and he’s out for blood. Gaetz is a vengeful little imp.
  16. Remember this? In a 2016 conversation with fellow members of House leadership, the majority leader, Kevin McCarthy, suggested that Donald Trump was on Vladimir Putin’s payroll. In an exchange first reported by the Washington Post, McCarthy said: “There’s …there’s two people, I think, Putin pays: [California Representative Dana] Rohrabacher and Trump … [laughter] … swear to God.” According to the transcript, speaker Paul Ryan immediately responded: “This is an off-the-record … [laughter] … NO LEAKS … [laughter] … alright?!
  17. Looks like Musk acquired Twitter to destroy it and save America from the Left: https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/was-elon-musks-strategy-twitter-rcna118490 On the day that public records revealed that Elon Musk had become Twitter’s biggest shareholder, an unknown sender texted the billionaire and recommended an article imploring him to acquire the social network outright. Musk’s purchase of Twitter, the 3,000-word anonymous article said, would amount to a “declaration of war against the Globalist American Empire.” The sender of the texts was offering Musk, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, a playbook for the takeover and transformation of Twitter. As the anniversary of Musk's purchase approaches, the identity of the sender remains unknown. The three texts were sent on April 4, 2022. In the nearly 18 months since then, many of the decisions Musk made after he bought Twitter appear to have closely followed that road map, up to and including his ongoing attacks against the Anti-Defamation League, a nonprofit organization founded by Jewish Americans to counter discrimination. The text messages described a series of actions Musk should take after he gained full control of the social media platform: “Step 1: Blame the platform for its users; Step 2: Coordinated pressure campaign; Step 3: Exodus of the Bluechecks; Step 4: Deplatforming.” The messages from the unknown sender were revealed in a court filing last year as evidence in a lawsuit Twitter brought against Musk after he tried to back out of buying it. The redacted documents were unearthed by The Chancery Daily, an independent legal publication covering proceedings before the Delaware Court of Chancery. The wording of the texts matches the subtitles of the article, “The Battle of the Century: Here’s What Happens if Elon Musk Buys Twitter,” which had been published three days earlier on the right-wing website revolver.news. The article was published with no byline, a common practice on the site, where writers also appear to use pseudonyms, such as “Moxie Russo.” The site is run by the far-right blogger Darren Beattie, a former Trump White House speechwriter who was fired in 2018 for having spoken on a panel alongside white nationalists. After the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, Beattie promoted the baseless claim that the FBI had planted agents in the crowd who incited it to storm the building.
  18. Fun fact: the United States has spent less than 3% of its annual military budget to aid Ukraine in its war against Russia., resulting in the Ukrainian Defense Forces " destroying half of the Russian army.” https://news.yahoo.com/ukraine-used-3-us-defense-203500822.html#:~:text=At the press conference%2C Graham, half of the Russian army."
  19. Yep. She beat her Dem challenger, MIT trained scientist and Baptist preacher, like he stole something,
