  1. Let me start with the statement that I really don't have any brand loyalty. I'm looking at getting a light duty truck with one of the higher trim levels around 2023 year (i.e. Ram Longhorn/Limited, F150 King Ranch, or GMC..whichever is on the higher end..Haven't done much research). What is the general Surly opinion on trucks from the leading brands? I'm mainly looking for reliability, comfort, and decent technology..in that order. Coming from a 2013 Tahoe. My current lead option is a 23 Ram Longhorn Limited but, again, still doing some research and haven't driven anything yet
  2. Again, more so the fact that I don't want to cut into my granite and crack it. I'd rather have someone who has done that before
  3. Wife (no pics you pervy bastards) wants a new kitchen sink for Christmas and I'm happy to oblige. Who would you normally hire to remove and replace a (likely) undermount kitchen sink? I'm also looking to see if there's any room to expand the cutout (hence hiring it out). Second question...where would you go to shop for the one bowl sinks? Just your standard big box?
  4. Well our LG top load washer is currently on the outs after 9 or 10 years. I don't plan on buying another LG/Samsung and it sounds like Speed Queen has fallen off a bit. Anyone bought one in the past few years and have reqs? I'm really impartial between top and front load unless there's something I should consider other than the mold smell in the gasket.
  5. Headed on a Disney cruise in a week on The Wish. (We'll do a day at magic kingdom the day before). Any tips or advice welcome. My wife planned this in conjuction with my inlaws (who are going) so I'm just along for the ride and the nut kicking.
  6. I'm usually a Tapa browser. Unfortunately my number of visitations have plummeted b/c that app is absurd....not sure if others are in a similar situation
  7. Anyone have feedback on the Breville Bambino or The Breville Barista Express? Intro level skillset
  8. Funny. Maybe I should put him has my RA for my Delaware LLC...
  9. I'm starting a side gig involving the import of medical supplies (not Columbian marching powder...promise..) and eventual sale within the U.S. The product is F.D.A. cleared and approved. I have the purchase process and eventual sale within the U.S. figured out but am getting stuck at the Customs/import level. Does anyone currently import good from overseas, understand the process to buy the bond, clear customs, etc and is willing to coach me through it?
  10. I use Fidelity. 2% on all transactions straight to my brokerage account.
  11. Bump, still looking
  12. I drink the Jocko kool-aid. Love his stuff and flavors. Plus it's fairly clean
  13. I'm rocking a moist January. Keeping it strictly to the weekends and low volume.
  14. It's looking like I will be in town this weekend and want to catch the game. I figured I would start here in the event anyone was looking to sell. Might need 2 or more tickets (RSVPs pending). Also, this will be my first time in the new arena. Where are the prime areas to sit?
  15. Thanks for the recs. Daughter is 5 and son is a year next month. My dude is the exact opposite of my daughter at the same age. Daughter is just super high on the emotional range spectrum and I'm not really that guy but, honestly, neither is my wife. She just has more of the "soft" skills needed to manage it vs. me. In that same breath, I realize I'm still lucky and over-analyzing it as I have a buddy who has some REAL child problems (getting kicked out of school multiple times at 3).
  16. Thanks for the recs, fellas, especially Thunder. I was about to pull the trigger on a Lowes model once I check it out in store tomorrow but will probably pivot to my local Ace's. Any must-have accessories other than the dueling spatulas and bench scraper.
  17. Thinking of getting in the game.....any brand/size to consider? Any to specifically stay away from?
  18. Not that I want to listen to any ole asshole, but I'm looking for aids to assist with raising kids and aiding their development. I'm just your regular asshole trying your best out here but sometimes feel like I'm really ill-equipped to manage my daughter's emotions. My wife is great at it but I'm trying my best to figure out how I can be a better partner and father. Any help is appreciated....as is making fun of me.
  19. Bump. Any recs for CPA around north Dallas area?
  20. Serious question. Couldn't they have just purged the shrimp while alive/intact? I frankly never really give a shit (npi) but our Port A guys who did our boils in college always purged.
  21. Yes. Which might mean I'm dumb
  22. Bump in DFW (Prosper). Background is this post. Finally got the K-1 but can't figure out how to input the document within TurboTax. Probably an easy solve but I want to make sure I'm doing it correctly.
  23. Long story short, I had brakes done before going on a trip to the lake. I'm mid drive and smell a good amount of burning from front left wheel hub. I think my caliper is bad and needs to be replaced (mechanic at home said it was fine but I was skeptical). I dont want to risk a brake fire on the way home so I'm considering getting the caliper replaced around Lakeway. Anyone have a good mechanic or mobile mechanic? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
