  1. What y'all got? This is will be the first year I host. I've got 1 oven so I'm trying to be a little strategic and use either my grill or smoker. Trying to decide on protein(s) but I know for a fact I'm going to do this sweet potato recipe (senator russells) as well as the tamale cornbread recipe
  2. I can't believe this hasn't gotten as much attention as some of the other threads out there. This series is out-fucking-standing. We really do have some amazing heroes that fought for this country.
  3. Swear to bevo, I've never had a strip in my life. I always have only gotten ribeye or filet. What's the appeal?
  4. I actually skip this step and go straight to the butcher counter to get their premarinated. That shit is money
  5. I change my own oil. It's above the minimum line but that's while it's cold. Is it worth getting a coolant flush at 110K miles? Assuming it's never had one.
  6. So am I. I just threw in the windshield a/c drain for kicks.
  7. I have not had any work done. I've also never had it changed since I've owned the vehicle (bought at around 15k miles). It's weird. It just sounds like a tub of water is under the dash and I really only hear it when I'm coming to a slow quick stop or a quick push on the gas. There are no leaves in the windshield drain so i think it should be able to drain.
  8. Any ideas for my problem @iamthepush
  9. I was at the bar of a steakhouse last night, tying one on after the loss, and a waiter comes to put in a drink order "lady says she wants a bloody mary hot, but not spicy."
  10. The sound doesnt come from the floorboard, it's under the dash. Could it be air in the line?
  11. '13 Tahoe. Has about 110k miles My heater is strong and still working. Is that an expensive problem?
  12. I've started to notice a gurgling or sloshing sound under the front passenger dashboard whenever I start/stop kind of quickly. Any idea what this could be?
  13. $110 for the pair? As in $55 each?
  14. What apps do y'all use for visual voicemail? I have an unlocked S9+ and the AT&T app won't work with my phone (I can't get past the PIN login despite the pw being correct and being reset multiple times). I've tried youmail and I'm just not too fond of it.
  15. Yea. This is my wife. Every night.
  16. I cooked a 12 pounder this Sunday when it was windy as hell. It basically was a version of hit and fast due to that...mainly cooking around 325 +/- 25*. It actually turned out pretty damned exceptional. I know, I know. My cutting game is off.
  17. Likely a pretty good damn outcome given the circumstance. I didn't realize you're only 30. TIA is quite unlikely but not impossible. If labs come back with that result, I'd consider a pretty hefty change in lifestyle. AFA the migraines are concerned, I've dealt w/ them since 3rd grade (also in my 30s) and they certainly suck. Good luck.
  18. This is the appropriate answer. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Unless you're okay with dying, then proceed to carry on. I'm serious. ER today. Now. Edit. And for clarification, I'm not talking about a pop-up ER. Go to a hospital that has cardiology/ neurovascular services.
  19. Can I call bullshit? Those are some serious boots to curb stomp someone in the yard with
  20. Ashwaganda forever!
  21. The birch @ HD was only like $40 for 4x8
  22. Put same damn pants on man!
  23. Michelle sounds like she's awesome
  24. Seriously, who is this Jason Oliveira guy? Looks to be a reporter in Cali but I'm wondering how he fits into this shit show
  25. Still good quality for painting? I do not plan on staining this piece.
