  1. I'm thinking about building this toy storage thing for my daughter. I figured I might just use birch plywood for the frame and then trim it out with something. Thoughts? Better design to recommend?
  2. I'll be at UPMC getting some CME credits this weekend. What places should I hit up for dinners?
  3. This game blows so I'll update. I forgot to get a post cook picture of mine but managed a mid eating shot of my dads. I flat out forgot to pepper the steaks before they went into the oven and the pepper didn't really stick for the sear. So it was definitely underseasoned pepperwise. Overall, I thought it tasted the exact same and my normal method with ribeyes.
  4. What the fuck is going on w psvue? ABC is blacked out
  5. Costco choice. Utilizing altons new salt method from reloaded. I'm afraid I didn't salt early enough in the day for the evap/reabsorption to occur. Babies and stuff involved so we're shooting for 6ish dinner time
  6. Never broken down my own tenderloin before. Something about it was quite gratifying
  7. Tomorrow, I will be cooking almost 10 filets for my parent's birthdays and I'm trying to figure out the best methodology to use. I want to sear them in a cast iron and then use the small amount of drippings that are left over to make a merlot sauce that will accompany the steaks and potatoes. I was thinking about seasoning the steaks, pulling them out of the fridge (cold) and searing them all earlier in the day, followed by refrigeration. As food time approaches, I'll pull the steaks out, bring to room temp,, and then pop them in an oven to finish at desired temp (M. Rare, except for SIL who is an unwashed heathen that takes it well done). Has anyone used this method or should I just cook them all (in batches) to order and forgot the sauce?
  8. Can anyone recommend a paint sprayer that does not have to be used with an air compressor? I'm a light hobbyist at a minimum and don't want to invest in an expensive compressor or sprayer, yet.
  9. I have a feeling 1 human will sit on that and snap the entire thing off the wall
  10. Is this for real? I've never heard of this method.
  11. My e 310 has cast iron grates that are starting to rust. Is stainless the preferred choice? Tbh, these didn't last long so I'm leaning that way. Anyone have a good retailer other than the one listed above?
  12. If I have 3 Mason jars left from last year, still good?
  13. I think we need some clarification with posters. For those of you w straight boxers, yes it's an option to pull through. Boxer briefs or tighties? No way. The boxer briefs I rock would make your junk do a "Z" to utilize the pull through. No way that's more comfortable than over the top.
  14. I prefer to pull meat off of ribs w a fork
  15. '85 here. Millennials are pussies and I don't identify with them. Long live "I Dream of Jeannie" reruns at my grandparents, Number Munchers, and Oregon Trail
  16. I just can't stand the slap you in your face vinegar sauces. Wish we could grade sauces as they're posted. I.e. Sweet - 7, Spicy - 10, Vinegar - 10, etc
  17. Why does imgur suck so bad?
  18. Hey, whatever it takes to distract a toddler during football season When you're undefeated in conference, you just let them hang
  19. I guess I figured that much. How would I go abt draining whatever water is left in there to ensure longevity for the door?
  20. No idea how this happened. I was airing out the house the other day by swinging the back door open and closed quickly and noticed the door was throwing water. When I looked closer, it looked like it was leaking out the bottom right of the inside window. I assume the water might be coming through the exterior window, possibly the bottom (ignore dog claw marks), but shouldn't this entire window be sealed? The door is barely a year old. The odd thing is that I'm not getting any fogging in the window and I assume you would? Any thoughts on how I should go about fixing this?
  21. Everytime the fucking play by play and color guys says "RPO"
  22. Over the top. Gives me a chance to air out the chestnuts.
  23. Sadly just a single hdmi
  24. What do I need to buy to extend my laptop screen to multiple screens (2, maybe 3, monitors)? My laptop only has USB and HDMI inputs while both monitors are VGA
  25. Question RE armyworms. When I see the armyworm moths around, does that mean that I'm on the tail end of an infestation or that I should be getting ready for one?
