  1. 17" fluorescent. 5 different fixtures
  2. I hate my Jabras and will sell them if you want. Kill my ears and always falling out
  3. Speaking of electrical problems...i just got a new house and have an interesting problem. All the under cabinets lighting won't turn on. I've confirmed the breaker works and have even put in brand new bulbs. It is the last switch on a 3 plug (pole?) switch. All other fixtures on the relay work fine. What are the odds that every undermount light is broken? All the others work in the house, its just the kitchen.

  5. Didn't a gaming room get raided a few years ago in McKinney? Not sure why I remember that..maybe bc it was down the street from Franconia
  6. Checking in to say Samsung fridge sucks a huge one
  7. I won't close on my place for a few weeks so don't hold them for me if you don't need to
  8. I'm interested, but how are they not compatible with your system? Are they also refurb?
  9. I'm headed to Bolivar peninsula today for a family weekend trip. Is this storm going to fuck us? Is there a chance they shut down or evacuate the peninsula?
  10. Pros used HVLP for cabinets.
  11. Follow The Idaho Painter on YouTube. He looks kinda douchy but he has really great videos. I'm about to sell this house and needed to get stuff done quick and cheap. Bought the better grade SW paint from Lowes. I already had a lower pressure tip from another job so used that...310 graco green tip I think. I did set up dexter style in the garage but rest assured, that paint still gets everywhere. Also, no way you will find a ventilator right now w COVID so hope you already have one. I didnt pay attention and didnt wear it on the first coat which resulted in me tasting metal all day.
  12. I did it recently in my bathroom w a spray gun. What I learned: The most important step to not skip is proper prep work. I.e. sanding, cleaning, taping, etc. Select the right paint to make sure it won't peel or chip after There is a pretty good learning curve on the gun. Not too heavy, not too light. Cleanup still sucks either way if you want to make sure that gun works next time
  13. I guess what I'm asking is should I just ask for a flat out credit? If so, how much? $500, 1000? Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to remove from the circuit?
  14. Well, we're buying a house that has a pool. Never owned or dealt with all the issues that accompanies having a pool. Does anyone have a resource where I can gain some knowledge and understanding? I got the pool inspected. I wasn't too happy with the inspector but this is what I got. Thoughts? Image 1 -- 3.5 Visible Piping: There is a line on the pressure (return) side of the plumbing that isn’t labeled and doesn’t seem to do anything within the pool when flow is sent to it. Ask the seller’s about this line to discover what function it serves. Image 2 -- Easy fix? -- 3.9 Automatic Cleaning Equipment: The suction cleaner works fine when most of the pump’s suction volume is dedicated to it via the diverter valve. This is common for suction cleaners of this type; they are volume hogs. The fitting the cleaner plugs into at the pool wall is broken and doesn’t have the required cover. When the cleaner is unplugged, the suction outlet is open and could injure pool occupants. Expect to pay between $27 and $41 online for a new fitting. Image 3 -- I'm annoyed that he put what he did in the report. I think I might have trouble getting a cash allowance at closing on it -- 5.0 Ozone Generator: This ozone generator didn’t seem to be working. They are designed to help sanitize the pool water so that it requires less chlorine. Full disclosure: these devices aren’t that effective. Also, there is no minimum water ozone content to achieve sanitation, let alone a way to measure water ozone content. Don’t bother replacing it. Next time the system is to receive significant repairs or maintenance, consider having the system removed.
  15. Yea, but isn't that weekend always a shitshow? We will be there at the house and beach only. No other outings
  16. Thanks. We will be going the long way around vs ferry
  17. Which cut did you prefer, with or against?
  18. No one?
  19. Just do what you have been and give the bone(s) to your neighbor
  20. I used to make regular trips there when I lived in Uptown back in the day. My list includes the spicy sausage, any other meats I can find, the biggest can of San Marzanos I can find, back up dough balls, olive oil(s), and a variety of their frozen pastas (mainly lobster ravioli if they have it).
  21. How was Jimmy's? Well stocked? I'm thinking in a month or so I'll make it down there.
  22. Anyone else use a pumice stone?
  23. Yea, I posted it there too just in case. I'm certainly not married to the numbers. I just now have 3 smokers plus a Weber gasser and just got a Ooni Pro pizza oven...sooooo my wife is a bit feisty as of late.
  24. I wish I had that skillset
