  1. In case anyone cares, the actual quote from Shultz last night: “I have a long history of recognizing I’m not the smartest person in the room, that in order to make great decisions about complex problems I have to recruit and attract people who are smarter than me and more experienced, more skilled, and we’ve got to create an understanding that we need a creative debate in the room to make these kind of decisions,”
  2. He said to stop engaging the deliberately obtuse troll on this thread.
  3. Negged again for lying about previous lying not being lying.
  4. This thread discussion needs some spoiler tags, IMO.
  5. Negged OP for straight up lying in the thread title.
  6. He actually can purchase, own and transfer firearms, but yeah...it’s absolute bullshit that we can’t even get rid of an AG under indictment for fraud.
  7. Why is no one really questioning the assumption that a bullshit national emergency move will be swiftly struck down by the courts? What’s the relevant precedent, other than when SCOTUS ruled in favor of Japanese internment camp?
  8. Just finished this one. HOLY. SHIT. It was just exceeding level after level of “this could not get more fucked up” moments.
  9. Yeah. And for some reason, one of mine is FUCKED after 3 years. It’s full and (I think) oxidizing. It’s never been touched by metal or out in the dishwasher. Sucks because I loved that pan.
  10. No cave! No cave! YOU’RE a cave!
  11. It’s the ESPN subscription service that costs $4.95, IIRC.
  12. Also, papas rancheras is a pretty traditional breakfast taco.
  13. I’m a lawyer and you are totally incorrect.
  14. Why not? SCO’s only requirement is to give the report to the AG...that’s it. Trump CAN do all kinds of politically suicidal shit to prevent it from coming out...like firing the AG too.
  15. If it was “egregious”, the wording would have made it clear as such. This isn’t some amateur school council statement in the local newspaper where we just distill the gist of the language. It says what it says for a reason and it doesn’t say other “stuff” for a reason. My take? No fucking idea. Could be major or minor discrepancies. Of course, I’m sure you love to talk shit about the other side jumping to conclusions all the time, when that’s exactly what you did here.
  16. Lol. Maybe I’m generalizing, but I really question the rancher’s accuracy in ascertaining a prayer rug.
  17. Right, which is why the whole explanation in the article about the various “other evidence” being the basis of the conclusion that Trump directed it.
  18. Yeah. Impeachment based on a Buzzfeed article (which I do not question at all) before the Mueller report is completed, seems foolish.
  19. Yep. These motherfuckers need to watch some Schoolhouse Rock or something. This whole “it’s a waste of time to pass something that will get vetoed” rationale is 100% nonsense. There isn’t one GOP senator that actually believes that, but they throw it out there for idiots to eat up. * See, example: GOP lege passing like 60 bills to repeal the ACA, knowing that it would be vetoed. Didn’t matter then to be “wasting time”.
  20. Are we going to get a non-recruiting/coaching hire related FlightAware watch thread?
  21. Biden and Beto are obvious answers.
  22. Who’s going to tell him that there has already been an IG report on the whole “lovers’ texts thing”?
  23. Just finished Season 1 of Sex Education. I really liked it. They tackled some serious deep issues with really good writing and acting.
