  1. If there is such a crisis, why has Trump been, by his failure to act, murdering us with imported Fentanyl for 2 years, and letting MS13 gang rape elementary school girls, etc.?
  2. I recently had a bunch of buy orders accepted for $.60, on “Trump will be GOP nominee in 2020”.
  3. Who, exactly are Matthis and Mathis?
  4. I’m dying to know what website, blog, Facebook page, etc. you got this gem from.
  5. Surprised no one has mentioned the “All That Jazz” sandwich at Verdi Marte, open 24 hours. That has got to be the best late night drunk food to eat on the curb whilst dodging those goddamn street cleaners.
  6. I FINALLY got to try the pepper jack boudin balls from Billy’s in Scott, LA. I’ve always been strictly a Don’s, Best Stop and Sausage Link customer. These balls from Billy’s are a fucking game changer.
  7. Don’t forget the cup o’ diabetes...that cherry lemonade. ETA: I think I’m referring to other carts, from a long ass time ago, because I don’t recall Korean tacos.
  8. é in Las Vegas is my clear winner, and I’ve been to Robuchon, Le Bernardin, etc.
  9. I’ve been looking into using a forwarding service. Which ones would you recommend?
  10. I’ve heard that the OF 1910 supply has run dry. Just left Spec’s Round Rock with 3 bottles. There are 3 more left on the shelf now. It’s not in their office stash or anything.
  11. Nope. That rule does not apply to kick returners.
  12. I especially love how he derides other countries for not stopping immigrants from LEAVING their countries.
  13. Correct. The testing is not done to see if they person is, at that very moment” getting some active effect from the substance.
  14. I liked it, Mez.
  15. I have been told that several of the leading DNA ancestry companies are owned operated by he LDS church, which would make sense, because their genealogy records are amazing. Anyway, someone brought up privacy concerns, and some say that when you submit your sample for testing, the results, with your identity are kept and archived by the LDS church. Not sure if this is truth or fiction. Hoping someone else here would know.
  16. No shit? If opt out of car ownership/operation, of COURSE that’s OK, because my choices eliminate the possibility of harming others in that way. No need to manage that risk anymore. Health care is different because you can not opt out of getting really sick or injured.
  17. Interestingly enough, the most frequent rejections of plea agreement that I personally see are in various JP courts. Tickets, man.
  18. The difference that you note as being “political” is actually extremely significant LEGALLY as it relates to the standard of review and deference.
  19. That judge’s decision is hilarious. The Trump DOJ was not advocating equality for the whole law to be struck down. The holding is basically: “This law originally had a bunch of parts.” One of those parts is unconstitutional. Now, that part was recently removed in 2017 by duly enacted legislation which kept most of the other parts. HOWEVER, that part can’t be taken out so...because the ACA had the unconstitutional part many years ago, and I think you can’t take it out, now I’m striking down the new version altogether.” * Bonus point: THIS is what an activist ruling looks like.
  20. Technically, you are correct, but this RARELY happens. As in, hasn’t happened in any of my cases ever.
  21. Somewhat related: The newly hired first assistant DA is a piece of work. He says, openly, that “Gideon v Wainwright is probably the worts thing that’s ever happened to the United States. At least I won’t have to deal with him anymore in Bell County.
  22. A Blana storyline focused season would kick so much ass.
  23. Misspelled “judgment” but that’s a nice statement.
  24. I see positive reports/remarks on Trump frequently on CNN, and not just from his surrogates.
