So some ranchers are just going to have to let a bunch of soldiers set up camp and razor wire all over their property? What do they do with the livestock?
Do you think that would have changed the equation? I’m sure it was mentioned and I see no reason why he would care. You think he has to have wall? All he really needs is to be constantly fighting to get wall.
Is that "common request" policy mentioned in any of the articles? Just curious as to how/why Chicago has that kind of policy. Do any other cities? That's a terrible approach to take.
The punishment would be handled like any other in that category. Just a probation if there’s no criminal history, otherwise, he would serve a max of 6 months in county jail (actually would serve half or less of that). Max fine is $2,000.
I just felt that this was a good time to inform everyone that this crime (the false report) is a Class B misdemeanor in Texas, regardless of the seriousness of the fabricated charge.
Negged for off-topic trolling.
Oh, can one of our many college-educated posters tell me whether or not this is one of those trolls that are just supposed to put on ignore?
You are in my head. Thankfully, this truth rant is also co-signed by my wife.
Tonight I’ll be making some prime steaks with Diane sauce/topping, using the recipe from Morton’s, along with creamed spinach.
Not really. I typically burn 650-700 calories in 45 minute ride.
ETA: Obv, it all depends on the resistance/cadence of the ride and the body weight and heart rate of the individual.
I don’t have the answer, but I have another question that someone may be able to answer. Doesn’t POTUS/WH Counsel have to be the person/entity to assert executive privilege? Or, can anyone in the executive branch assert it?
Is there or should there be a separate thread for garden issues, as in, growing stuff that you can eat? I haven’t kept up with this one to know whether that’s just included in the lawn discussion. I don’t want to get messy with tomato seedling talk in a thread where it doesn’t belong.
I did that, and that “hypothesis” is handliy debunked with concrete empirical evidence, like measles and HiB. More directly, the increase in polio attributed to improved sanitation correlates directly with population growth. The “rate” of polio infections didn’t increase. That’s kinda important.
Definitely get the vaccine. Whatever the discussion above is about not getting the shot because you now have 10 years immunity is unfounded, per my pharmacist wife. Also, her store has been short a tech for 2 weeks now because one of their kids has been in and out of the hospital with the flu. The tech didn’t get her kids a flu shot. Said Anita are given for basically pennies at this store location. Sigh. You should be able to fire people for this shit, but can’t, apparently.
