  1. Where are the charges against Trump? If he is so guilty it should be easy to prove. Nobody knows because the investigation is still being conducted. Hint: The feds do not always indict a target as soon as they believe that they have probable cause to establish one charge or even several charges. I’m not saying that there will be charges (I assume that you don’t mean indicted, because that won’t happen with a sitting president.). I am saying that is it is ridiculous to assert that “nothing from Mueller accusing Trump of criminal activity proves that Trumpis innocent.
  2. Many thanks. The discussion I read earlier somewhere led me to believe that this was something done much more recently.
  3. Does anyone have the details on Beto being one of 4 dems who voted against the tax exemptions, etc, related to Harvey relief today?
  4. How big was the venue? Cedar Park Center holds 2,500.
  5. The WSJ article linked in that tweet is a solid read.
  6. The only wrinkle I would add is that the $ actually came from Trump Org, which is a corporation, not his “personal” funds. * Apologies of already addresses. I’m way behind on this thread.
  7. There is no reason to lean that way, really. The jury could have easily taken less than 2 days to run through 15 counts with unanimous votes of guilty. All of this extra time could easily be heavy dispute over just one or a few counts. The likelihood of a hung jury on all 18 counts is very small, given that tax evasion, etc. are basically slam dunks for the government. It seems like all of the press coverage is DOJ but a terrible job of explaining that the verdicts/hung jury/mistrial scenario isn’t “all or nothing”.
  8. She is a terrible candidate. I wanted to see what Andrew White could do. I know that he also would not have much of a chance to win, but I think he (or about anyone else) could have helped out with down ballot races.
  9. I encourage you, as a Wilco voter, to learn about and hopefully support MJ Hegar for US House District 31. The incumbent, John Carter is a crusty Chamber or Commerce darling from Temple, TX.
  10. No idea, what he’s saying, but this is the first time I’ve been accused of being a sock.
  11. Maybe he means that he did not assert executive privilege? I’m not sure exactly how all of that works. Also, did they actually testify, or just cooperate and sit down with:Mueller for interviews? I will point out again that he has not allowed himself to interview, so not sure what he is bragging about.
  12. Could you repost this comment in English, please?
  13. He should “allow” himself to fully cooperate and go sit down with Witch Hunt Bob.
  14. The fucking fuel to transport the military equipment that Trump requested would cost over 3 million dollars, by the way.
  15. That tweet is 100% incorrect. I’ve seen that exact chart or the information shown on it AT LEAST 100 trials. LOL. In fact, I have the exact chart in my office. Caveat: My statements can only be guaranteed accurate in Texas state courts.
  16. That lawyer is just bullshitting. Trying to read those tea leaves of juries is a fool’s errand at best.
  17. As astounding as questioning someone’s military service?
  18. This concept makes general sense. I think the use of the clearance for former officials has usually occurred when current officials seek advice/input from prior ones, to get their experience, perspective, etc. It’s not used as some carte blanche VIP all-access mechanism. To put your principle (which I generally agree with) into practice, it would be necessary to create some special expedited process for former officials. I say that because the thought of officials spending all kinds of time and effort to get an individual limited clearance before sharing stuff would be a clusterfuck, if they had to get a new one every time they wanted to seek advice and counsel from the former dudes.
  19. They can’t. They are suing (really taking her to binding arbitration). Author/article is sloppy AF.
  20. Is this supposed to be one sentence?
  21. Right, but the screaming threats at Jim Acosta at trump rallies are just fine.
  22. What government agency, rule or law is being used against Alex Jones? I ask because that’s the whole premise of the Atkinson video...speaking against a government imposed censorship, which doesn’t seem relevant to anything Alex Jones related.
  23. Fixed for accuracy
  24. So, in other words, you are just trolling, due to butthurt over criticism for starting too many separate threads? Dude. it shouldn’t have been posted in Politics at all, new thread or not.
  25. Sounds like something an international sex trafficker would say.
