  1. Assuming Maxpreps data is accurate Landen has had 0 games with 30+ carries, and 1 game with 30 total touches on offense in his high school career so far. This season he is averaging 20.66 total carries per game. That is almost identical to Jaydon Blue's junior season. Jaydon Blue didn't play varsity as a freshman and sat out his senior season so of course his total high school touches were way less.
  2. You want him to throw the ball away on 4th down?
  3. Arch threw the one quick slant I remember over the receivers head.
  4. Isn't that because he didn't announce a commitment time until this week?
  5. Without insider info on if he was still being recruited I would say a similar thing happened last year when Townsend committed to UT after A&M already had Armstrong. It was announced as a head to head win over A&M on Hayes Twitter post. Just a part of recruiting. I will add Townsend is ranked higher than Armstrong now but wasn't at the time.
  6. https://247sports.com/player/landon-barnes-46148025/ The other one is committed to Ole Miss.
  7. I believe the only consensus 5 star that Strong got was Jefferson so McGuire technically has more consensus 5 stars at Tech than Strong had at UT assuming Ojo signs to go along with Hudson. Just an interesting look back at the dark days of UT recruiting.
  8. Sacramento St just got a commitment from the consensus 114 ranked recruit in the nation. Former Texas assistant Brennan Marion is the head coach there. https://www.on3.com/rivals/xavier-mcdonald-157164/
  9. Yeah, I'm not knocking the staffs development at all. Nobody has a perfect hit rate.
  10. Johntay Cook would like a word on this absolute statement. Also I think DJ will be drafted, but not high.
  11. Jonathan Scott was drafted in the same round as Christian Jones many years later (5th) so I wouldn't really call that a high pick.
  12. Oregon just got their third commit at the safety position. Just thought that was interesting in regards to Davon Benjamin. Oregon could be recruiting some of their commits or Benjamin at CB because I'm just going off their 247 page positions.
  13. Technically Florida also beat Texas for McCoy. He is their only solid d-line commit though. The other Florida d-line commit is apparently going to flip to Ohio State.
  14. It's a very thin year in the draft for WR so a solid year from Moore probably means he leaves imo. In comparison the 2027 WR class is LOADED.
