  1. This dude's Ti Kwan Leep is on point.
  2. Same wavelength here. They are all dressed similarly, look to be fit, young men, and look like they are used to being briefed/instructed in the field. The only thing making me doubt is that none of the "migrants" tried to cover their faces when the drone was spotted. So they are probably not operators, but could be regular soldiers sent to disrupt, or be a distraction. Hell, maybe they are what passes for operators in Belarus. I would bet that the Poles kept an eye on them and has arranged a suitable welcome, either way.
  3. That may be the concept, but I think that most modern IR seekers look for the shape of a vehicle. I think that a pot of burning coal or wood is unlikely to spoof something like a Javelin.
  4. According to KBTX's website, he got a four year extension in July, so I doubt it. The kid is probably just tired of riding the pine.
  5. If I remember correctly, his dad is the aggy women's soccer coach. Ouch.
  6. Or are we only seeing the best footage out of hundreds, if not thousands, of drops? These are great, but keep some perspective.
  7. Don't do this to yourself.
  8. Marriage license. Counting only the license, not ancillary costs.
  9. Depends on the tribe and location. The Comanche pushed most of the frontier line 100 miles east during the Civil War while most of the men were fighting each other elsewhere. The Navajo and Apache played hell in New Mexico and Arizona while the Union Army was busy with the Confederate Santa Fe expedition. Once the confederates were run out of New Mexico, the Union Army in the area shut them down pretty quickly. Many Cherokees fought for the Confederacy. One of Grant's staff officers was a Seneca. Like I said, it depends.
  10. The Gargoyles! How did I forget them? They terrified young Scheiss.
  11. I'm not an expert, so I'm sure someone will correct me, but I don't think that Kherson is easy to bypass and isolate like that. It is a major crossing point on the river, and it would be difficult for Ukraine to secure two bridgeheads, one above and another below the city to get into position for such an envelopement. Control of the city is also very important to both sides strategically and politically. As I understand it, by taking Kherson Ukraine would control the fresh water supply for much of Crimea. Losing that would be another heavy blow to Russia. If anyone can figure out how to get around this nut and crack it more easily, I think the Ukrainians can. So we wait and see.
  12. No, the horse turd is still there. Must have needed to take a piss or something.
  13. With. Definitely with the legs.
  14. Look at those happy faces! Don't they look like highly motivated patriots, given wonderful gifts in recognition of their service? Not cannon fodder, not them.
  15. Too close to home. But I grinned, because it made me think of my dad.
  16. Handing out tracts, no doubt.
  17. You can bet that there would be plenty to clean up. Ground isn't held until someone with a rifle is holding it.
  18. Other than the Embassy Guards for the area embassies, I would guess on ships in the Med. They can't get there by water due to Turkiye shutting down the straights, but they will find a way. Afghanistan has no sea access, and Marines got there just fine.
  19. I saw that yesterday and immediately thought that they are there to let Putin know that if there's any WMD bullshit, his army in Ukraine would vanish in a matter of weeks. The 101st is the warning. I can only imagine what isn't being shown.
  20. Yep. The training that I got was that combatants in civilian clothes may be considered spies and summarily executed under the Geneva Conventions. Not that Russia gives a shit, but most of the rest of the world does. If Ukraine chooses to go no quarter on them, nobody will give a shit.
  21. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for his resignation.
  22. Oorah!!! That's a Marine right there!
  23. I've seen that about 22 million have already applied for the student loan relief. Those 22 million need to remember who is opposing them when they vote.
