  1. That's your take on that situation? Very interesting. I would think a better take would be "making the other team's band sit in the second deck and lug all their shit up there is a bush league move that demonstrates terrible hospitality and manners," but whatever. The bands suck anyway.
  2. Does anybody still go to the Hawk & Dove anymore? That used to be the best bar on the Hill.
  3. I do not know. I am a fat person who sits at a desk and presses buttons.
  4. "splitting the throttles" = completely badass
  5. Is that a left-handed 1100 Wingmaster in 12 gauge? Give Give to me
  6. Let me help you: Me: "Sweetie, I've noticed something happening lately when I ask you a question." Her: "Yeah, me too. You stop listening and walk out of the room." Me: "Well, there's a reason for that. See, when I ask you a question like I just did, which was 'Who is going to take Child No. 2 to school when you go back to work?' you started talking about why you were not going to be taking client calls on Zoom in the mornings anymore and telling me about your work schedule throughout the day, etc. and you never actually answered my question." Her: "So you want all of our conversations to be like an interview with one word answers?" (She always takes shit to the most negative extreme.) Me: "Yes." You are welcome.
  7. I just cannot believe that anybody would not like this movie. It is awesome. This movie is a litmus test for whether I can trust you. If you did not like this movie, you kick dogs, pirate other people's wi-fi, and steal parking spaces.
  8. I am not a chef, but I don't think this is a sandwich.
  9. Fair point. My wife does the same thing. Wife: "I am so mad about this situation that I am going to call A and tell them never to work with B (former employer) again." Me: "You can't do that. That's tortious interference." Wife: "I can do whatever I want. This is not right. I set this up, and they should not get to benefit from it." Me: "You did it while you were an employee there. You cannot call anybody about your gripe." Wife: "You don't know what you're talking about. I can tell anybody whatever I want." Me: "Okay." *Turns back to drafting summary judgment brief in case involving tortious interference.*
  10. you're an attorney and you let your wife commit unemployment fraud? good luck with all that, etc.
  11. Just the opposite. The King's Landing we see at GoT is in profound decline. You can see how new and beautiful many of the buildings are (including the Red Keep) during the initial dragon flight over the city.
  12. You don't have to go to Baltimore. There are plenty of places in DC where you can still get murdered in broad daylight.
  13. It was "poorly received" because it completely sucked.
  14. Did we do Christian Bale yet? Worst: Reign of Fire Best: Vice
  15. Not judging because my wife can be pretty challenging as well but I have noticed that your posts about what your wife does or says tend to hit pretty hard relative to most other posts. What she did was pretty shitty.
  16. No pizza shooters, shrimp poppers, or extreme fajitas?
  17. You don't think he is funny in Blues Brothers?
  18. even if WW didn't bomb, it's still a really mediocre role. I just don't get it.
  19. So is Chris Pine like a serial rapist or something? He was great in Bottle Shock, Star Trek and Hell or High Water, but he gets mostly shit roles. Dungeons & Dragons? Barf. Can somebody explain this to me?
  20. This is a fantastic rifle/cartridge combo.
  21. He was from Baltimore. He can only die if he's shot or falls into the Inner Harbor
