  1. My only input here is that I would not spend the night in Naples if you can avoid it. Naples sucks. I would get there early in the day, spend three hours at the Museo Nazionale, eat some pizza and then go to Sorrento and use that as your base for Herculaneum (a half day max) and Pompeii (not quite full day). But you want to see the Museo in Naples, especially since they have moved a lot of the Pompeii artifacts there. When you go, make sure you see the Weary Herakles, aka the Farnese Hercules. It is awe-inspiring. Also I would pick the Blue Grotto over the Tiberius Villa if you go to Capri but if you can do both go for it.
  2. Chappelle thought it was so unfunny that he put it on his show and then also made a whole skit with Wayne Brady being blacker than fuck and then put that on his show too. A joke so unfunny, he told it twice.
  3. By the people who don't know what the American public wants to see
  4. Both very good. Still, if I'm giving people a "must eat" list in DC who want to have fun and not go broke, my two favorites are Cafe Mozart and Rasika.
  5. I'm rereading the book before watching this, but if you have any doubts about Timothee Chalamet (or Robert Pattinson) then do yourself a favor and watch The King. It is excellent and they are both very good.
  6. In the men's room? That's weird.
  7. because you didn't go to the meeting
  8. I don't think it's all that nuanced.
  9. I like this one: https://www.grainger.com/product/45NU52?ef_id=Cj0KCQjwt-6LBhDlARIsAIPRQcIPh8hJCSr2149aWeY0Dy-2z0VVjYMdBlurPfB6vcsZHu1G5oVS2rwaAh7sEALw_wcB:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!2966!3!496359976444!!!g!472964099515!&gucid=N:N:PS:Paid:GGL:CSM-2295:4P7A1P:20501231&gclid=Cj0KCQjwt-6LBhDlARIsAIPRQcIPh8hJCSr2149aWeY0Dy-2z0VVjYMdBlurPfB6vcsZHu1G5oVS2rwaAh7sEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  10. You changed your quote. The distinction between violence and verbal abuse is not semantics. It is the bright line we draw in our society and for good reason. That does not mean verbal abuse is okay. It just means it is not violence. Hurting your feelings is not the same thing as breaking your orbital socket. It just isn't.
  11. Verbal abuse is not "violence." Violence is violence. They are completely different things. They are FUNDAMENTALLY different things. The distinction between them is that they are different things. Conflating the two is not just a slippery slope - it's a cliff, and you jumped off of it.
  12. It would be sexual assault. You did not consent to that because you did not have all the information you would need to formulate consent. Some free advice though is that your reaction should be to be extremely nice, to say "I'm not interested" and to make sure they get home safely. Anything else and you've got a potential issue.
  13. ^^^^^^ this right here is why I cannot support you as much as maybe we'd both like. There's no such thing as "verbally violent." I reject the concept on an existential level, and I would advise you to reconsider using this paradigm at all because all it says to people is "I don't want to have a disagreement because I can't win on the merits."
  14. Nobody who is not Amish says "teats" especially when they are angry.
  15. I would compare it to a 1911 and a Walther PPK/S. They are not as practical for every day carry as many modern firearms, but there's a gravitas to them that makes them very appealing. Like wearing a Rolex instead of a Timex.
  16. The BHP is undeniably one of the finest handguns ever invented.
  17. Ken's lines about teats were so shitty it may have derailed the entire series for me. Terrible writing.
  18. Another place I used to love when I lived there but haven't been to in decades is Galleria Umberto. Any of you been there lately?
  19. The load has gotten heavier.
