  1. Came close to doing that myself, for reasons. I got 99 problems with Vance, but that ain't one.
  2. I prefer Super-Diet Mountain Dew. It's like Mountain Dew, but you don't drink any.
  3. They have the best rejection notes. Type up some short essay, send it in via snail mail. Within a few weeks you'll get a polite rejection on a fancy piece of paper that looks like an art print. Tack it on the wall and impress drunk women.
  4. Counterpoint: I gotta stick up for the college baseball players I taught. They were smarter than the average Freshman mouth-breather, quick with a joke, scored high on the subject matter. But I've had multiple concussions so who knows.
  5. Dude. You don't get it. She's Black-Not-Black.
  6. Let em eat shit and bark at the moon. A few crazies will get treated like crazies. The rest will sulk and tell little jokes that one of them will shush if a stranger walks by.
  7. Ohio DeSantis got taller but he's still pretty small.
  8. Take out the Tex, you got Mexican. Take out the Mex, you got... I dunno. Whatever they eat in Tennessee.
  9. That's the way Georgia did it from 1917 to 1962. hmm.
  10. Me no like Chuy's. I slam my fist on the table and say that Tex-Mex is a made up category, like Scotch-Irish.
  11. The GOP needs to run a Roy Moore creeper clown to turn a red state blue, if only for a brief blessed time. TFG has amplified Moore's tendencies by an order of magnitude, plus actual crimes, but is hard-baked past outrage with the Maga. Half of them won't stay home instead of vote for him like they did with Moore. Maybe a small percent will. Cruz is toadlike, cowardly, and evil, but teen human women hold no allure for him. So no weakness there. Unfortunately, Texas seems to be topping up with transplant Maga, thanks to U-Haul. I hope I am wrong.
  12. It's like an iceberg. The weirdness you see is only 10% of the total.
  13. Maga's got the Lollipop Guild on their side.
  14. Chest thump from the AL-7. Terri Sewell's mom was my librarian and her dad Coach Sewell tolerated me in lunch-study.
  15. This is the most rattled Maga's been since the refs allowed U.S. Grant to put too many men on the field.
  16. Who said that though, RFK jr, or the brain worm?
  17. You shoulda thought about that before you let the vampire bite you.
  18. Never get in a shit-slingin contest with chimps.
  19. I thought we fought the Revolution so we wouldn't have to listen to Prussian ventriloquists' dummies.
  20. Back in 1960s Selma at the burger joint right across the bridge, her not-quite-black self would find a window placed there for her convenience so she wouldn't have to feel uncomfortable ordering inside with the white people.
  21. When I first moved to Austin, I went there once every two or three years. It gave me the same jittery feeling as dating a girl who texts every 30 seconds and it's not even about sex. Seemed about as Mexican as ice-fishing in Canada while some girl texts you every 30 seconds and it's not even about sex. Jangly interior like a Hooter's full of lawyers and they're not even dressed like Ho Barbie. The waitstaff, not the lawyers. Eventually I found that I liked tortilla soup. Maybe that wasn't even Chuy's. Then I lived in Mexico and got insufferable as fuck about American attempts at the food.
  22. We are to blame for not understanding Ghislaine's mermaid ways.
