  1. After the move:
  2. That would require them to pay attention. They only have the attention span to care about ‘issues’ for half a football season every 4 years. In 2028, they’ll complain about trump and MAGA as if they didn’t vote for him. They’ll tell you your vote doesn’t count or mean shit even when they voted for this jackwagon multiple times and he won 2 of 3.
  3. 2, 4, 3, 1 is the correct order here.
  4. 8D Dad chess. Legend.
  5. And a mobile qb who can make things happen when the play breaks down…. Which we haven’t really faced this year until last weekend? CK last weekend is probably the most dual threat qb we have faced all year to this point, no?
  6. Does not compute……
  7. His negotiation ‘style’ is lame, tired, and so transparent. Fart of the deal.
  8. Ain’t happening. But would be cool. We’re going to sign a LH outfielder for 3 millish as a stop gap until next year to stay under the salary cap. With close to $33M coming available next year I could see a bigger splash signing. I hear that Tucker kid on the cubs is pretty good. Maybe we go after him.
  9. We got Walker from AZ. Why not Grichuk? His best days are behind him… and he’s 33 but maybe see if he’d do a 2 year deal at $6-7M total. Doesn’t solve our heavy right handed line up problem, though. Peralta? Platoon with Chaz in right. Dang I wish we weren’t so damn boxed in by that dogshit Abreau contract. Yikes.
  10. Pretty sure that’s just one of the many used wads of Kleenex from a late 90’s DNAmiddleschooler as a result of a half naked Milla Jovovich in that movie……
  11. You here posting yesterday’s news?
  12. Fair point. There isn’t really any leverage to change the format unless they see ratings dip or something.
  13. My 8 and 6 year old daughters were having the time of their lives. I parked in west campus and walked to the stadium. 1.) I pointed out all the buildings as we crossed campus that I went into and told them what was inside. 8 year old: Daddy this is like a tour! We didn’t know we were getting a tour too! 2.) Bevo Blvd and the midway food was great. Girls loved watching the band go into the stadium while eating a burger 3.) Girls were kind of confused on the first chant of Texas and fight while walking up to our seats in the ramps to the upper deck. So I instantly belt out ‘tex.. usssss!’ And when every one yelled ‘fight’ their eyes lit up like I was a super hero. Of course when we got to the OU sucks part their eyes went wider as they are not allowed to say ‘sucks’ at the house. 4.) They loved the pregame flyover 5.) The actual game was the low point for them. 6.) Drone show killed 7.) I made them sing the eyes or at least hold up their horns during it. 8.) I’m pretty sure throughout the game a whole bucket of popcorn was consumed by each. Plus a box of m&ms in each of their popcorns…. Then the dip and dots…. And a pretzel. So when at 1:30 am I woke up to crying and two kids that independently puked the bed, I knew that I flew ever too closely to the sun on a completely badass day. There are no free lunches. And chocolate puke mixed with popcorn kernels is not fun to rinse and pretreat before throwing into the washer. I can do without that again.
  14. The fact that it’s on a Chevy Colorado is the least surprising thing ever.
  15. Was at the game and in upper deck. I didn’t see the offensive PI’s in real time but given how open the receiver was, I knew they had to have run a pick. Texted a buddy about it right after. ‘where was the offensive Pi in that play?’ He didn’t answer me. I feel vindicated. But also this is a far different reaction than I would have had last year. I would have assumed a blown coverage all the way and would have considered us lucky to have been blocked in the defensive backfield.
