  1. The dumbest, most ignore US senators so far.
  2. This. This COVID shit needs to be looked at again. Just like the new college overtime which also sucks with the alternating 2 pt conversions. That sucks. Want to make it better? Make OT no kicking. Boom. Better. No field goals in OT. Just TD’s and 2 pt conversions from the start. That would incentive teams to try and ‘win it’ in regulation too… well at least in my non analytics brain it does…..That’s at least football. Not soccer penalty kicks BS. I was watching something that stuck with me the other day in which someone said it’s now (unlikely) possible for you to throw a perfect game a lose. 9 inning of perfect but game 0-0. You go out into the 10th. Deep fly ball to deep right center. Runner advances in tag up. Second batter deep fly ball to center. Tag up and score. And then you get 3rd out. you’re down 1-0. Your team does nothing and you lose. So no hits, no errors, no base runners outside of the free one…. And an L Theres something fundamentally wrong with a set up that would allow a pitcher to throw 9+ innings of perfect baseball and lose.
  3. Now that there’s the ability to not pitch to a guy / intentional walk with no pitches, you could even see a scenario where you have a 1 pitch inning if you walk the first guy and then get a triple play. Hell I guess that is also possible (highly fucking unlikely though) to do in a regular inning if you intentionally walk the first two batters and then get a triple play….
  4. Ezra Klein’s podcast episode on whether it’s a genocide is a good listen. Towards the end they touch on how during the Nuremberg trials one of the Germans (I don’t remember who they said) says something to the effect of he didn’t really even think much of the extermination of the Jews. Like they were so insignificant that their extermination didn’t even register. Im pretty sure that’s what we’re experiencing now…. It’s a full on atrocity of apathy.

  6. What a thirsty bitch baby, As much as the slow creep of fascism is terribad, the petty stuff like this makes even more mad. There is nothing redeeming about this man. If souls are real, he most definitely does not posses one.
  7. That was his original solution for Covid, right. We had so many reported cases because we kept reporting them.
  8. Raw ass?
  9. Yeah….. that’s not right. Surly olds, correct me if I’m wrong but: At 60 she’s entitled to his survivor benefits outright. Whatever % he was getting should be accessible to her now. From what I understand, she can’t get her benefit AND his but should at least get the higher of the two. This is of course just from some simple googling and research on SSA.gov. Ex.) If she’s getting her say a 75% payout of taking early ss and it was $X, and he was getting his 75% payout for early ss and it was $Y and Y > X, then she should be entitled to $Y per month now. Its still not the X+Y which sucks…. Am I right?
  10. Because of the implication?
  11. Maybe Mother Nature can slowdown the Mariners. God knows nothing else seems to be working.
  12. I keep racking by brain wondering how their kids could have turned out an emotional mess and a perma-ADHDer.
  13. For those other 50% of young men, weary, overworked, and oversexed, I, an elder millennial, shall cast aside the shackles of monogamy and step once more into the bush. The rules have changed, and the swipey apps hold a wealth of opportunities—yet remain fraught with the perils of siren calls. Still, if half the young men refuse to fill the void, then I shall, in noble service to Gen Z, vow to fill many of those voids. I say, fuck it! And fuck it I will. Lest the script of Tadalafil run dry, I shall get my dick wet.
  14. side note: Can you ever get your virginity back and if so, how long does it take for you to be a neovirigin? As a married man over 40, I ….uhhhhhh…. have a friend who was thinking this the other day.
  15. In Fort Bend I did go past the ARB. I had put together a nice analysis and they pretty much just asked the appraiser what he thought and when he said that they run all the numbers through their software, etc they ARB threw me a ‘bone’ and took like 5 grand off. That made me salty. I requested arbitration. You have to put down like 500 or 1000 bucks as an escrow depending on valuation of the property. If I remember correctly, if the arbiter goes with a number closer to yours then the county is on the hook for that # and you get your $ back. But if they rule closer to the county number you lose your $. I can’t remember if they called me or I called them before the actual arbitration date. But I got another meeting with the county and they agreed to like 75% of what I was asking for in appraisal reduction. So I never actually got in front of the arbiter and was given my $ back Provably took too much of my time but it was a learning experience none the less.
  16. On a serious note though, if you’re Bexar county then don’t pay anyone to do your protest. The informal appointment appraisers are such a push over that as long as your reduction is ~ 10% they’ll just agree to it with minimal evidence. with Chat GPT, it’s now just too easy. Playbook: 1.) Get appraisal 2.) Protest 3.) Receive comps / evidence packet 4.) Request access to county data that literally has all properties in county (it’s a code to a Box.com account or something like that at least) 5.) Download CSV file 6.) Filter the 4-5 gig excel file down to your neighborhood / street / whatever window you think is fair or makes your house look way over priced 7.) Save only that filtered data 8.) Ask Chat GPT to make a presentation / statically coherent arguement for X price. 9.) During informal present your # and show Chat’s hard work. 10.) Profit…. Well at least pay less than you would.
  17. Get a fucking job and afford your taxes free loader. Why should I be subsidizing your ability to live in your expensive ass home just because you’ve lived on the earth longer than me?
  18. I mean, they say it with not even an ounce of irony.… the best people indeed.
  19. I’m not good. But I can hit the ball straight enough to make a scramble doable. work is now making me do marketing things…. which means a lot more golfing. I have always rented clubs for events…. But I feel like I should now buy a set. Whats the best way to get a good set of beginner clubs? The second hand / refurbished Calloway site seems ok I guess. IDK. Figured surly had enough gurus to lead me to the right path.
