  1. I'd argue that most common clay people who voted for Trump don't give one fuck about politics. But they sure do like the idea of people they don't like being punished.
  2. While it certainly feels like laws and the criminal justice system are hilarious overmatched when it comes to the rich and powerful (and they are), I agree that vigilante "justice" ain't going to make things better.
  3. I chortled at that part too. Imagine getting lectured about the importance of free and fair elections by anyone who willingly hitched their wagon to Donald Trump.
  4. Trump continues to be judged like no other President--or person, really--in our country's history. "He's transparent and does what he says he'll do...by not focusing on the issues that he campaigned on." Truly dizzying logic. But it's what the people think they want, so keep it coming Mr. President.
  5. Zero sympathy whatsoever for anyone who trusts dumb fuck.
  6. Yeah, no. No one outside of political weirdos even knows about this.
  7. Honestly, if you knew nothing else about the story, guess who these fucks voted for (if they voted at all)?
  8. That's cute. The only thing that dude loves more than his name in the spotlight is easy, passive, massive amounts of money.
  9. Jesus Christ, this. While the trotting out of celebs on the campaign trail is cringy, it's what the American people are obsessed with, none more so than the pro wrestling, reality TV watching right.
  10. Broken Anastasis is somehow even less entertaining than Normal Anastasis.
  11. Rush Limbaugh is rolling over in his grave to not get a courtesy shout out.
  12. They are most definitely not. It's over. They're just fucking with the loudest Dems left because it's fun for them.
  13. Oh, hi. How's it going?
  14. Either a shitty troll or a straight up psychopath. I'm not sure which.
  15. I'm on that pier to the right a few times a week. Was in one of the first buildings as you walk off the pier today. That large ship in the right background (hard to see on the first rainy day we've had in months) is parked at the Navy's massive fuel pier, so obviously could have been much, much worse. And, like I said, another split second on that course and everybody's eating mine clearing dolphin sushi.
  16. I can't believe I'm defending Gobert here*, but they beat Denver and got to the WCF because they were the best defensive team in the league all year. A Minnesota team with KAT and no Gobert peaks as an easy 2nd round bounce. But a Minnesota team with Gobert and no KAT also seems to have obvious shortcomings. *though certainly not his contract or trade package
  17. I was in a building on the waterfront. Definitely heard and felt it. Initially dismissed it as a jet going supersonic a little too low/close (not terribly uncommon by North Island), but then it went immediately silent. From people who did see it, apparently the pilots ejected almost immediately after takeoff, then the plane when nose up into the clouds before plummeting straight down. Pretty damn fortunate for such minimal collateral damage punching out in what's a very crowded residential/business area. I wonder what the Navy protocol is for pilots in an malfunctioning aircraft over a population center. Maybe there was nothing else they could do.

  19. I'd have more sympathy for these people if it didn't ultimately--always--boil down to this. Policies, American first, economy, wokeness gone awry, yadda, yadda...on some level, they all voted for Donald Trump because he promised to punish the people that they don't like. Fuck 'em.
  20. F/A 18 just crashed a couple hundred yards from me into the San Diego Bay. Pilots ejected, no damage to anything onshore. Just trying to keep jet fuel away from the Naval dolphin pens that the jet missed by about 50 feet.
  21. Taking Donald Trump and Elon Musk's word about rampant corruption that they unilaterally discovered is certainly a choice. I feel like we've seen this movie before. Like every couple of weeks for 9 years.
  22. Seriously, how fucking stupid do you have to be to believe that that's an actual quote?
  23. Oh for sure. Wind River is one of my favorites. When he nails it, he nails it. He just also has quite the collection of lower-effort projects with lazy ass writing, shameless self-marketing and product placement, hilariously written "strong" female characters, and not so subtle political messaging. But, when you're responsible for 83% of all shows on television, there are bound to be clunkers.
