  1. It's going to be great. Thick-accented, monotone Ferrari engineers vs. Lewis never, ever, ever missing an opportunity to remind his team, "I told you so."
  2. Oh, the revolution starts on Wednesday? I actually have a commitment that day. Can we reschedule?
  3. All 6 "rookie" (which includes Bearman and Lawson) drivers spun out this weekend. Antonelli was the only one able to keep his car away from the wall. It's fascinating to me how little time F1 drivers actually get in their cars.
  4. Well, the correct way is moving left to right, top to bottom, ranking as you go. Easy The psychopath way--which I believe was jt's method--is to list your favorites in order by their position in the picture. So, in a picture with 5 people, a ranking of 4, 5, 2, 3, 1 would mean that the 4th person in the picture is your favorite, and the 1st person in the picture is your least favorite. Utter madness.
  5. Hey now, Canada. Let's take a step back and talk.
  6. You can say that again. Their second fastest car being over 0.3 seconds clear of the rest of the field? 2023 Red Bull didn't even do that with their top car in Bahrain (1st race that year) or Australia (3rd). Hope we're not in for a repeat of that season. Luckily, McClaren is good for some strategy shenanigans. Williams not being in the running for worst car on the grid would be a nice improvement. They have the most likeable driver lineup in the paddock, and both are crazy talented. Albon deserves a faster car. Yuki being on a season long revenge your against Lawson after getting jumped without ever even getting the opportunity to put up some lap times in a Red Bull is a fun little side story.
  7. At what point are we allowed to tell Brad Pitt that he's too old to believably play these parts? Before or after we tell Tom Cruise? Also, judging from the trailer, they seem to basically be remaking that terrible Sly Stallone movie Driven, with F1 cars instead of CART. That said, I am so fucking in.
  8. He's off to a great start!
  9. How do I say, "Y'all fucking voted for this" without coming off as CR?
  10. After two compete, mostly unimpeded terms. We sure showed him!
  11. I couldn't make it through Episode 2. I realize I'm watching a show about the Jack Reacher book series starring the roided up linebacker from Blue Mountain State on Amazon (Middle-Aged Dad) Prime, so I'm already expecting the dumbest television currently going...but holy shit. It reminds me of the Batman and Robin movie. Joel Schumacher made Batman Forever (Reacher Season 2), and everyone was like, "Okay, that was still watchable, but you've reached the maximum stupidity/cheese factor we can tolerate. Maybe tone it down on the next one?" And he said, and I'm probably paraphrasing, "Hold my beer, watch this."
  12. I did not have Russell Westbrook ending his career as the more valuable asset on my bingo card after their OKC breakup.
  13. The only thing that I love more than Sunday morning races before the kids wake up is Saturday night races after the kids go to sleep. Yay timezones!
  14. Costco and Wi-Fi. As long as those things are intact, we're all just a bunch of talk.
  15. Of course he will. This was all an elaborate ruse to get Europe to step up. Not the knee jerk actions of a petulant child. No, of course not. But I don't give a shit as long as it gets done. That said, who the fuck knows what side of the bed the administration will wake up on next week.
  16. Seriously. I don't see how we survive 4 years of this shit.
  17. Donald Trump did not put a single dollar of his own money towards that Tesla. Just stating the obvious.
  18. Fuck you, Bezos. Let's actively work to continue normalizing Trump by reminding everyone what a big, strong, smart businessman he is in heavily edited, largely scripted television for idiots.
  19. In between all the sex you were having, right?
  20. As the resident Steph apologist, he started falling down anytime that he felt someone in his landing zone way back when it seemed like his ankles were held together with rubber bands to not risk planting his foot on top of a defender's foot. ...that it also increased the likelihood of a foul call, and he began exaggerating the falls over time is purely an unintended coincidence (wink, wink)
  21. Yeah, but we can't give him 4 for some super obscure, unexplainable reason.
  22. Do you have a better way to take poor people's money?
  23. Steph is 13-1 in his career, college and pro, at MSG. That one loss was his coming out party in 2013 when he scored 54 points on 11 threes. Not sure if that's a testament to how great Steph has been under bright lights...or how shitty the Knicks have been for two decades. Probably the latter.
