  1. Is Jared Goff the second best quarterback in the league? Wild.
  2. The DUI or the haircut?
  3. Unless you're a Republican. Then, you can do the absolute bare minimum, but the church will do the heavy lifting for you to make you seem godly and Bible-versed to the religious types. Turns out they have quite the knack for make believe.
  4. You'll get Joe Rogan, and you'll like it.
  5. 1) It's pathetic and desperate and all they've got. 2) It's going to work in Texas, and has a puncher's chance of working nationally.
  6. Staged as fuck is one way to go about it.
  7. Ok, drunkie.
  8. Who haven't lost to anyone not named Alabama since 2020...
  9. Stanton has got to have the most bad ass stance in baseball history. The helmet full-face helmet only showing his side eye, the smedium jersey showing off the guns, the casual ass fuckness of it...I have no idea how he generates that much bat speed without taking the bad any higher or further behind him than his shoulder, but it's awesome.
  10. Arnold Palmer is rolling over in his grave having this fuck bring him up in one of his stupid fucking rallies. Go slobber all over Jack's knob. He's into it.
  11. The list is incredibly long, but Elon's inevitable very public meltdown when Kamala wins is very close to the top of Things I'm Most Looking Forward To on November 6.
  12. But pastors diddling kids? We'll just reassign those, and reinforce to the kids that telling their parents is a sin.
  13. Remember when Donald Trump was found guilty in a criminal case, sentencing was imminent, and several other of his pending trials seemed to have real momentum? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
  14. Except that they've never--not for a single second--been the majority.
  15. Any word on who Ghost Tupac is voting for?
  16. There's that noted right wing humor we hear so much about.
  17. tx 3 putt consumes all the trash media on both sides, so we don't have to.
  18. But they're using using their husband's credit card. Am I right guys?? Haha, high five. That's the discourse level on the most watched news network in the country. So cool.
  19. I had to root for the fucking Chiefs in the Super Bowl last season because the shear amount of mouth-breathing morons who would have made their loss about COVID vaccines and Taylor Swift being Yoko Ono would have been intolerable.
  20. I have no issue separating the accomplishments from the man and still giving Elon his credit. Could another primary investor/CEO have achieved what his companies have with the same subsidies, founders, and engineering personnel? Maybe. Who knows. But he did and, as CEO, he gets the lion's share of the credit. That's just how it works. But this discussion began when someone posted a tweet about how amazing it is for something with no formal engineering background to be spearheading what SpaceX is doing. I think Elon has made it perfectly clear by this point that he's much dumber than any of us could have ever guessed. It's fair to assume that he has minimal, if any, involvement on the technical/engineering side of his companies. I still think he's been a net positive for society. Though, holy shit, that gap is closing and, if he gets his way in November and becomes a defacto cabinet member, it will likely slam shut. It's just disappointing that one of the richest, most powerful, influential human beings in the history of modern civilization has decided that internet troll is his true calling.* *this also might be a net positive for society, seeing the most powerful among us still fall prey to social media brain rot. Hopefully it's been a wake up call to some.
  21. To be fair, I did say Trump-voting, not Trump supporting. They'd vote for another R if they could, but whatever it takes to keep the radical left away from their taxes and guns. And they feel all the "noise" around Trump is overblown by the media. Most people enjoy living in their blissful ignorance when shit doesn't directly affect them. All the people in the back: Propaganda fucking works!
  22. I have plenty of Trump-voting friends/family/co-workers. Most hide behind some combination of economy/taxes/guns, and make a point to remain willfully ignorant to all the other shit Trump and those who empower him do and say. I think it's dumb, naive, selfish, and dangerous, but I have no desire to ever try to talk, let alone convince people of, politics in person. They keep it mostly to themselves and are largely the same people that they were a decade ago. It is what it is. However, a good chunk of the Trump voters that I know have become completely broken and oblivious to social cues and polite conversation. They'll find any and every opportunity to workshop the latest conspiracy theories on their "audience", make trans jokes, and casually slip in various hateful/bigoted/misogynistic/xenophobic shit. They're a chore to be around, and I don't want my kids anywhere near them. Where not obliged by mandatory family get togethers, I've unapologetically jettisoned that group into the fucking sun.
  23. Trigger Warning starring Jessica Alba. Wife and I were doing some financial stuff last night, so we clicked on the first brainless crap that we came upon to put on in the background, knowing full well it would suck. It was so bad that it was almost good. Jessica Alba is an elite special operator returning home to uncover the small town corruption that got her father killed. Either Alba insisted on doing most/all of the stunts herself, or the entire stunt team needs to be blacklisted from Hollywood. I think she must have sat through half a knife class and half an MMA class for exercise, and some dude trying to get laid told her how bad ass she looks wielding a knife. Then she called her agent to find her something, anything that would let her be the action lead. It's the only explanation.
