  1. Nash and GM may ask to be fired after KD is traded and they have no foreseeable draft future.
  2. I was guilted into HCing again for the fall coach pitch league.
  3. The other way to look at it is: if Jackson and Watson traded teams four years ago, would their stats still look the same? What about playoff success?
  4. Wasn’t one of his gags going into a yoga pose named “baby needs a diaper change” or something where you present your taint and sack for a “massage”?
  5. I didn’t say rub and tugs were right or legal. I said it wasn’t the same thing and isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison for Deshaun defenders. It was likely consensual, there were no charges or lawsuits, and it is only known to have happened once. Deshaun had 24+ women brought in and then sexually assaulted them to various levels. I don’t remember, but in addition to massive embarrassment I think Robert Kraft issued a remorseful apology. Deshaun keeps acting like he did nothing wrong, the Judge Robinson said he isn’t remorseful, and any apology he has given was worded such that he apologized for the after effects or impact on teammates, but he never apologized for actually assaulting all these women. They are both reprehensible but Deshaun was far worse by most reasonable standards.
  6. Who is running these stats for NBC? When they interviewed Dick Vermeil it said his 2003 Chiefs were the first KC playoff appearance since 1977. WTF happened with the Dave Krieg, Joe Montana, and Steve Bono Chiefs teams of the 90s???
  7. Kraft went to rub and tugs where that’s what the women did. Nobody pressed charges or threatened a civil suit. Still illegal, but more like prostitution than rape. Watson had supposedly legit masseuses come in then he busted out the snake.
  8. Zeke Elliott’s suspension with no criminal or civil charges might have been too harsh. This year’s others (Hopkins for trace banned substance or Ridley for making (fantasy football?) bets after he was already injured for the year) are probably too harsh. But using a dude with 24+ sexual assaults as their example during CBA negotiations seems like a weird hill to die on.
  9. LOL fuck you Deshaun. Too bad it’s unlikely he ever suffers financially for it.
  10. Sounds like realignment won’t impact your viewership or fandom at all, then.
  11. Put him RF and play Tucker in CF, whatever. It’s about scoring runs on offense and minimizing bullshit 3 up 3 down innings in the playoffs.
  12. I know we shouldn’t have given up Urquidy and all our farm system for Soto…but would’ve been nice to have Soto at CF for the playoffs though!
  13. Sexually assaulting 24+ women means you get a 6 game suspension and less than $400k in lost salary, but by gawd if you speak to a pending free agent’s agent before the first day of free agency, we’re going to ass blast your franchise to the tune of a 1st and 3rd round pick!
  14. Cool Bronco! If I was paying to have it repainted, I probably would’ve gone with something splashier than hunter green and light beige though.
  15. Nah the flux capacitor was “invented” in Nov 1955 when Doc hit his head on the toilet, and then finally built in 1985. We were already behind as hell on that one.
  16. This has been discussed several times. I hope the Texans sue his ass over the signing bonus (not the base salary of sitting out last year) and ask the NFL for the cap space back. Here is the timeline: September 2020: while Deshaun was in the 4th year of his rookie deal and AFTER Bill OBrien had already traded away Hopkins and sold the farm for Tunsil, Watson agreed to a 4 year, $160M extension that would kick in in 2022. The signing bonus portion was $27M which he received immediately in 2020. He insists on a no trade clause, which Houston gives him. Sometime in late 2020, early 2021: Breaks NFL covid protocols, possible federal interstate prostitution laws, and human decency by starting massage + forced handjob/blowjob scheme. January 2021: After team fires BOB and just 4 months after signing extension, he demands trades through indirect parties and starts communicating via tweeting Future lyrics. (Radio/social media talk and rumors): Watson said he was pissed Houston didn’t hire his choices for GM and HC. Houston hires David Culley out of nowhere to be a player friendly and African American coach. This doesn’t move the needle for Watson. March 2021: New GM Caserio said he wouldn’t trade Watson, but before any deals could be worked the masseuse handjob scandal breaks, just a couple weeks before the 2021 Draft. 2021 Season: Caserio and the world assume Watson would likely be suspended if they plan to play him, which could further hurt his trade value. He could also get hurt. He could also suck, while 2020 had been a monster stat season. They agreed to let him sit with pay until things got worked out. Supposedly they had good trades in place with Miami and Carolina, but Watson vetoed Carolina and wouldn’t settle his civil lawsuits, which Miami owner required prior to trade. This was the 5th year of Watson’s rookie contract. March 2021: Harris Co. grand jury does not indict. Multiple teams offer trade packages to Houston. Watson vetoes Carolina again (alleged best return for Houston) and picks Atlanta (also good draft and player return for Houston). In the middle of the night, Watson’s agent calls Cleveland on a hail mary to ask for the moon, and he gets it. They will trade for him, give him $230M fully guaranteed, structure his contract with $1M base in 2022 to minimize impact of suspension, and protect contract regardless of punishment on current or still undisclosed massage handjob cases. Instead of getting a top 8 pick in 2022, two more picks from a shitty team (ATL or CAR), and a decent player or two, Houston got #13 in 2022 and Cleveland’s next two firsts that will probably be in the mid 20’s. Also, Houston paid Watson $27M signing bonus on a contract he said he would not honor when he requested a trade and never played a down on. His extension with Houston was torn up and replaced with his new Cleveland contract. In 2021, Watson made $10.5M to sit as well but that was a mutual decision. Houston lost $38.5M in cap space over this horse shit.
  17. 1. I don’t think there is an owners’ conduct policy in place, but the NFLPA agreed to players conduct policy in the several iterations of collective bargaining. If the NFLPA wants a similar policy in place for owners, they should negotiate for it. 2. Robert Kraft got a handy at a rub and tug, no assault occurred, no complaints by “masseuse” or charges filed, no civil lawsuits. Deshaun had at least 24 women who were not working at a rub and tug from whom he attempted or succeeded in getting unwanted handies or bj’s, and was sued by them.
  18. “Run or runs, boy?! Shits or shots? Your call!” - Taco Bell management
  19. The CDC put out information on monkey pox that included the terms “butthole” and “fetish gear”? Seems like America is somewhat prepared if a scientific federal agency is embracing the lingo of people having the most unprotected random sex or slobbering over each other at clubs.
  20. Marty and Doc traveled to October 21, 2015. They whiffed big on flying cars, Mr. Fusion, and rehydration of baked foods, while thinking we’d still be communicating via fax machines. They nailed video calls, and related to sports they missed the Cubs finally winning a World Series by only a year.
  21. Ford hasn’t released the 2023 options yet, but there’s a heritage edition for some trims that I think may include white hard tops and a retro grill. The leaked exterior color options are mostly different, because my wife wanted to order the bright yellow/“orange” color and if the leak is correct, it is being replaced with a dijon mustard brownish yellow color. They are allegedly offering a powder blue though.
  22. Does this justify doing fewer than 4 hours per week of film prep during the season? What’s worse than having to or actually putting a clause like this in and cause drama and tension? Putting the clause in, then removing it. Kyler will definitely DGAF now. Ea$y money y’all dumb bitches!
  23. LOL that was a shot at myself for not hitting the cutoff man, not a shot at you. The first time I did it by accident and you let me hear about. The second time I did it for the LOLZ and would have got the runner out at home if ROFLBOX or whoever was playing catcher could catch.
