Yeah, there's a lot more out there that haven't quite hit as much main stream success, you just have to know where to look. These two in particular are awesome, Turnpike is my favorite country act out there right now
  2. This movie looks great, so in! I need to go to my dad's house sometime and try to search for all my old Godzilla VHS's and start re-watching those
  3. Much appreciated man, he's been doing a lot better now, will be on blood thinners now to make sure that doesn't happen again now that he is more susceptible to it. It's a real shitty thing, the doctor told me 1 out of every 3 people die from it and it just comes without warning. That's a shame what happened to this kid.
  4. Thanks, I appreciate the suggestions, will look into those the next time I go out looking again for my new acoustic.
  5. Nita Strauss is awesome!
  6. Yeah, that isn't him just being a fat ass and gorging himself on food, he's clearly got some health issues going on. Speaking of Motley Crue, we're finally going to get that The Dirt movie they've been saying their doing for the last 15 years or so. Comes out March 22, 2019 on Netflix. They are also releasing a few new songs for the album but I wasn't a huge fan of Saints of Los Angeles and I'm imagining it's going to be something similar. http://ultimateclassicrock.com/motley-crue-dirt-movie-release-date/
  7. It's not about what he's doing now, that's not why players get drafted. It's about his potential for future growth and that's very evident in Jaxon Hayes. I was curious about the 10 point game that you called him out on so I checked Myles Turner's game log for his one season at Texas and in 68% of his games here, he scored 10 points or fewer. But he was still a lottery pick because NBA GMs could see his potential and he's been a pretty solid NBA player, worthy of that lottery pick.
  8. True, but to be fair, I'd say Mahomes this year is on quite a different level than Dak's rookie season. Plus, this isn't Mahomes' rookie season, he didn't play much last year but he's already had a full year to develop and learn the system.

WTF, not just off-field concerns but "serious" off-field concerns?! Now Holton Hill, that was "serious" off-field concerns, the dude could not lay off the pot. But look at him now, he's been playing and playing very well for the Vikings despite all of that. Something tells me the NFL GMs aren't going to really care too much that he was suspended for 1 drive this year and a bowl game a year ago.
  10. Fuck man, the same thing just happened to my dad a couple of weeks ago but he was fortunate enough to be able to survive it. The doctor said that him being younger and in shape helped him have a better chance of survival. And he's 55 years old, not a 22 year old former college athlete. That's really shitty, T&Ps to his family.
  11. Very well aware of that, not sure who the hell I was thinking of, long day. Crawling back to my hole now

Not their biggest fan in the world but it's definitely great to see a band like this finding some good mainstream success in the world of Sam Hunt's and Luke Bryan's that currently pollute the country airwaves.
  13. Dak over Romo?! And "any day" on top of that? Jesus, the terrible takes really do run rampant in this thread, don't they? Dak has shown flashes here and there but like GRHorn said, he's an average game manager, he can't take over the game with his arm in the way Romo could. Linehan has plenty of blame as well but he's not the only reason our offense looks so stagnant for long stretches so often. I said earlier in this thread that Dak can be as good as we need him to be with some work (see Alex Smith going to a fairly recent Super Bowl) but I'd much rather have a healthy Romo actually moving the ball down the field
  14. Indeed, that does look very nice. I'm actually looking for some suggestions for a new acoustic guitar. I used to play for a few years back in high school but ever since I got to college, I just kinda got busy and lost interest and haven't really played seriously in probably about 10 years or so. But I've got some musician friends that I've started jamming out a little bit with lately and it has started to rekindle my interest in the guitar and I've been starting to play a lot more lately. I've got a pretty nice Strat that I love playing but have been playing more acoustic lately and I'm currently just working with a very cheap old Yamaha that sounds like hell, can't stay in tune, and is just not the easiest to play so I'm looking for something a step up from that, but as I'm still pretty much a beginner and just getting back into it, I'm also not looking for anything too expensive either. I'm looking for a solid acoustic in the $350-$550 price range, does anyone have any suggestions? I went to Guitar Center last week and played around with a few but just didn't find anything that really stood out to me.
  15. It's not worth it to see Vince Neil live anymore, it's sad the state he has reached now. I've seen him several times the last few years, the last 2 times were at the M3 Festival in Maryland and everytime I see him, he just gets worse and worse. Like TK421 said, he only sings maybe 1/3 of the words and does not sound well at all. The only enjoyable thing about his shows now is watching Zoltan Chaney rocking out behind the drum kit, that dude is an absolute madman!
  16. If you don't think Dak is the guy, fine, I still think he can be as good as we need him to be with some more work, but I can understand the arguments against him. But this whole Mike White fanboy crush you have is just weird as hell. That's a strange hill to die on. Barring an injury or two, that dude is not stepping on the field.
  17. This kid is turning into one of my favorite players in the league, been watching a lot more KC games than I normally would, the dude is just super fun to watch.
  18. I had been holding out hope that we could get him to stay another year and develop but every time I check out a mock draft, he just keeps on moving closer and closer to a lottery pick. Starting to look like he's definitely going to be gone at this point
  19. That's disappointing, any word on what it was? I'm assuming he was probably late to a practice or something
  20. Oh how times have changed. As a 27 year old who first started watching the Spurs around the 1998 season and has mostly been spoiled with the Spurs consistently being one of the best teams in the league, this season has certainly been quite a beating. Always knew the time to rebuild would come someday, I'm just grateful it took this long.
  21. Yeah, I guess you're right, you do have a point. I mean look at the growth of some of our receivers this year under Mehringer's tutelage.....hell LJH has blossomed into one of the best receivers in the country, you can't tell me a large part of that wasn't the expertise that Mehringer brought to the WR room. I think he could be a great young leader as the head coach for an up and coming team, would be tough to see him go.
  22. Yes, JMU, please take him off our hands! Thanks in advance

Love this movie so much, one of my clear all-time favorites. When I was in middle school, in a class of a few hundred kids, there was only one kid in the whole class that was shorter than me, probably in the whole school even, that's how short I was. Yet basketball was my passion growing up and I also played some football as well. Having everyone doubt you and always having that chip on your shoulder, always having to work harder than everyone else, I related to this movie a lot and it's always been one of my favorites since I was young. Although, I didn't have the courage and determination to work my ass off to walk-on to a college football program....I just eventually switched to golf in high school
  24. Well Jason Garrett is obviously not going anywhere after this season damn it. Dude was one of the favorites to be the 1st coach fired in the season and finds a way to go on a 5 game win streak and save his ass once again. But for Christ's sakes, please don't bring Linehan back. Can't take another year of this.
  25. This may be a dumb question but....whenever my horses stamina would be low, I would brush him and then his stamina would boost back up. But now, it doesn't matter how much I brush him, his stamina doesn't budge. Any ideas why? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
