  1. JV strikes out the side in the 1st. Looks gooood.
  2. Thanks. Gonna reserve 2 sacks. Can always peel and freeze tails for etouffee.
  3. Buddy and I are looking to do a boil for our first time next weekend. Where should we procure a sack(s)? He's on the NW side of Houston, so closer is preferred, but we'll go where we need to. Going to have 10 adults, half women. Is 1 sack enough? Any tips for first timers? Purge?
  4. It looked like they were sitting down in the dining room of J-Bar-M in the preview. Outside chairs looked the same too.
  5. Augusta National is one of the most, if not the most, difficult walks in professional golf. No way he tests his leg out there with no tournament conditioning, both mental and physical. Best case scenario is maybe he plays Memorial and makes a judgement on the US Open. Perhaps the Memorial, the Scottish, and The Open. 150th Open at St. Andrews - flat, easy walking course. Honestly. Hilton Head and/or Colonial would be great courses to test things out (relatively flat, distance not at a premium). If he doesn't play The Open, then he may shut it down until The Hero or the Father/Son again. Just my uninformed $0.02.
  6. Alright. There's a MLB thread to discuss Correa going forward. This thread is about the offseason for the 2022 World Series Champion Houston Astros.
  7. I hear ya, but this has all the signs of a Netflix documentary in 3-4 years where collusion was rampant among the large manufacturers, congressional hearings were had, and nothing happens to the companies or executives.
  8. Guns N'Roses? Appetite for Destruction/Lies/Use Your Illusion I & II
  9. I am beginning to wonder if the market will ever correct and that production will adjust to maintain the premium pricing (and financing).
  10. Bump. That time of year again. Post who's serving, your reviews and prices.
  11. Team Dale for me. Only for the reason that he rose from the ashes and bought the LA Lakers while banging Playboy models.
  12. Why has this not already been updated to the Patricia Heaton Appreciation thread?
  13. A very young Michael Shannon there.
  14. Dumb Question Amnesty: The lining to my pool has about 2-3 years left before needing redone. The decking could be redone now. Not sure what I'll do with the decking (overlay, complete redo) as I have not really educated myself in this area. My question is, should I wait to do both projects, or does it even matter? Are they related in any fashion? Also, if you have any knowledge to share on types of decking (types, cost, pros/cons, time to install), I would be most appreciate. -new pool owner
  15. I love this fact about his solo album Both Sides (1993): "Both Sides was notable for the fact that Collins made it entirely on his own, without usual collaborators producer Hugh Padgham, guitarist Daryl Stuermer, bassist Leland Sklar and the Phenix Horns. After recording demos at home, the album was finished in just six weeks at the Farm with the help of producer/engineer Paul Gomersall. For the first and only time in his career, Collins played all the instruments himself as well as taking care of the primary production duties. In addition, Collins wrote sleeve notes explaining the meaning of each song, another first."
  16. Where are you sourcing these? I may be looking in the wrong part of the store.
  17. The Chamber was a terrible movie, but he was great in his role.
  18. Scottish Open is now a co-sanctioned event of the PGA Tour. https://www.skysports.com/golf/news/12176/12371695/genesis-scottish-open-one-of-three-events-to-be-co-sanctioned-by-pga-tour-in-2022
  19. I think that's just how her face is structured. Definitely a hard-looking 41.
