  1. Agreed. However, the Ryder Cup is run by the PGA of America. The President's Cup is run by the PGA Tour. Either way, I would like for Justin Leonard to get a shot. Not sure if he's even interested, or hasn't wanted to play the politics of it, being a vice captain, etc.
  2. For you Houston folks, how is the line on a Saturday at J Bar M? Better, worse, or about the same as Truth?
  3. Start beaning a couple of the repeat offenders. They'll adjust.
  4. Currently a VP of Finance with a smaller company doing about $60M annually. Was previously with a fortune 100 company in multiple Finance leadership roles. Looking to make a move. Desired salary in the $180-220k range. I'm used to the traditional office environment, but times are a changing. I am seeing more and more Remote-only positions that are paying quite well. From y'alls experience, what are the warning signs on these posted positions? Key questions to ask? I'm willing to adapt to the market and make a change to remote-only, but definitely need some guidance. Thanks in advance.
  5. Lovie to HC, Pep Hamilton as OC, McCown to QB Coach. Not gonna win much with this roster, but I could live with this.
  6. Or, in the immortal words of Fletcher Reede, "Stop breaking the law, asshole".
  7. I thought the franchise was trying to move on from heavy petting?
  8. Given the fact the Texans will screw this process up, what is their next action? Hire one of the white candidates, and stoke the fires of the current situation even more? Interview more minority candidates? Or, lay low and delay the announcement of the white guy a week or so?
  9. Gonna announce this any minute given the Brian Flores news. Need to protect the shield and all...
  10. This has truly turned into the Black Monday NFL thread indeed. Black man loses multiple jobs (present and future) on a Tuesday and didn't even have a job. How the hell you do that?
  11. I couldn't remember if Hines was interviewed in person or not. If he was, then yes, you are correct.
  12. This satisfies the Rooney Rule. Prepare for a McCown announcement any day now.
  13. Yeah, I feel awkward enough putting a sign up. I never solicit or even tell people "Hey, I have a sign." The only reason I do it is the GS are a great organization. At least the troops we have been involved with.
  14. Don't forget about Rina. She was the one that came in to help out during the government shutdown.
  15. Henry, last fall, every time your boss got on the stump and said, “It’s time for the rich to pay their fair share,” I hid under a couch and changed my name. I left Gage Whitney making $400,000 a year, which means I paid 27 times the national average in income tax. I paid my fair share, and the fair share of 26 other people. And I’m happy to, ’cause that’s the only way it’s gonna work. And it’s in my best interest that everybody be able to go to schools and drive on roads. But I don’t get 27 votes on Election Day. The fire department doesn’t come to my house 27 times faster and the water doesn’t come out of my faucet 27 times hotter. The top one percent of wage earners in this country pay for 22 percent of this country. Let’s not call them names while they’re doing it, is all I’m saying.
  16. Patrick Wyrick was a final 5 finalist when Kavenaugh was nominated and he was like 37 or 38.
  17. Cool. I also generally throw 6-10 boxes into the breakrooms after the selling period is over. Don't need all that in the house.
  18. What's the ruling on putting up a sign outside my office saying GS Cookies are available for purchase? No soliciting, just an informational sign.
  19. Young Mrs. Landingham would get it. Probably would get tired of the voice after a while though.
  20. How is he with leading Bible Study? Asking for the Texans.
