  1. Dominique hitting the open market? News at 11.
  2. He hasn't even finished one year, so....
  3. What time is the basketball game?
  4. A guy at our office has to report on Monday for this. He's pretty upset about it because of a new baby at home, but he's a big boy and knows what he signed up for. Mostly worried about the length of the deployment.
  5. Mr. Gatti's buffet? Oh, wait...womp womp.
  6. National media will make sure to twist this into shitting on the Astros for something.
  7. For what it's worth (and not much) but a friend of mine played in a golf tourney with Brandon Backe this week. Per Backe (yeah, I know), Carlos is gone, JV is gone, and they'll trade Alvarez in 2-3 years. 5 years is the team's window. After 5 years, everyone is gone. Grain of salt and all.
  8. That's fair. If I have to make a choice, I'd go with 2 good starters first, and get what I can a SS with what money is left.
  9. Has she mentioned she played on the golf team at TCU before?
  10. You lose Springer, but Tucker improved greatly (4.7 offensive WAR, .917 OPS). Jury is still out on the decline of missing Correa, but he's a free agent with injury history. Do you want the Astros to offer 10 years 320-350?
  11. Kansas +30.5 is looking awfully good this afternoon.
  12. I'll be there Saturday. Haven't been out to Memorial Park since the redesign.
  13. Are we tipping pitches again? I thought that shit was over against the Red Sox.
  14. How many fucking captains does Iowa State have? Every other motherfucker has a C on his uniform.
  15. Will make a great t-shirt.
  16. As Pitching Coach? Not sure his teaching delivery will translate.
  17. Kai Money time.
  18. 1. World-class education for all (to steal a line from The West Wing, our schools should look like palaces, and the competition fierce to teach in them) 2. Economic Continuance (generation-to-generation industry planning, paired with education and technology) 3. Infrastructure
  19. Not sure 15 hours after losing the World Series is when to schedule the tear down.
  20. Good rundown here of the offseason events/dates. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-offseason-key-dates-2021-22-free-agency-cba-winter-meetings-spring-training-opening-day-2022-more/
  21. If the resurgence and energy of Halloween this year was any indicator, Thanksgiving/Christmas is gonna be lit. #RevengeHolidays
  22. He's dead, Jim.
  23. Below is the recipe that was shared above. I made this last night exactly as it is written and can confirm it is the truth. I used the HEB American Block cheese recommended above and shredded myself. If you brown the top a little longer, it would be very close to Chik-fil-a's. This is a legit base macaroni and cheese that can now be used to play with other cheeses, bacon, green chiles, etc. The "dry milk roux" I think is the key. Enjoy, friends. Luby’s Macaroni and Cheese Ingredients 2 cups (8 ounces) dry elbow macaroni 4 tablespoons nonfat dry milk 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted 1 ¼ cups boiling water 3 cups (12 ounces) shredded American cheese (found at deli counter) ¼ teaspoon kosher salt To Prepare Preheat oven to 350 F. Cook macaroni 1 to 2 minutes longer than package directions so pasta is soft but not mushy. Drain. In a large mixing bowl, combine dry milk, flour, and butter. Whisking constantly, gradually add in boiling water. Add 1 cup of cheese and continue whisking until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Fold in macaroni, 1 more cup of cheese and salt. Transfer to a lightly greased 11x7 inch casserole dish and cover with foil. Bake 25-30 minutes or until sauce in center of casserole is thick and creamy. Remove foil and sprinkle remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese evenly over top. Return to oven until cheese melts.
