  1. Add $10 to it every year on their birthday. 1st 12 months $100/month, 2nd 12 months $110/month, 3rd 12 months $120/month. If you are able of course. Can add up quickly with no real effort or change in lifestyle for you.
  2. I will add that you should not sacrifice your retirement savings to pay for college or save for your kid's college. The time horizon to pay back a student loan is much longer than your the time until your retirement. Good on you for giving this attention now. My best advice is constant and consistent amounts to the 529 accounts. Even if it's only $100 per kid per paycheck, set up an auto draft. And keep contributing to your retirement.
  3. I thought he was still on the IR through the series in Houston?
  4. Masters week is here! Lots going on this year. Our boy is back in the winner's circle and headed to his course, DJ as defending champion in questionable form, the Bryson experiment, JT dare I say sneaking in under the radar for a Players Champ, Rory still trying to complete Grand Slam, Scheffler bucking his head lately, Rahm as a new Dad and the new "perspective" that will be beat into the ground, Get your pimento cheese and egg salad prepared. Sit back and enjoy the pictures, some crowd noise, and soothing sounds of Jim Nance.
  5. How about Brad Stevens? <ducks>
  6. Stevens makes $3.7M with the Celtics. Throw $5M (with no state income tax) at him and make him say no. You wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts.
  7. I feel the youthful love of the game from Little Shep should lead Dad Shep to start the Official Season thread.
  8. Just watched The Test Dream (s. 5 ep. 11). One of the most wild captures of a dream sequence. Loved the cameos.
  9. I can't remember, but I thought Barnes had a beef with Dean Smith, too.
  10. Floyd's in Cypress had some really good bugs for $9 per pound.
  11. When did she turn into 60-year-old Allison Janney on meth?
  12. We went in 2013 and had very much the same experience. Wonderful people, very generous. Got to meet Whitman, and he was a true gentleman. This was the 1st TX/WVU game with WVU as a member of the BIG XII, and they were fired up to have us. We went out to Cooper's Rock the morning of the game. Really nice. The amount of trash that accumulates from a full day of tailgating there is incredible.
  13. Correct. Sysco has increased levels of quality. Their in-house brands (order of lowest to highest quality): Sysco Reliance Sysco Classic Sysco Supreme Sysco Imperial There are also heat-and-eat options that tons of restaurants use. There are also those that buy high quality Sysco branded items, and prepare their dishes in a more traditional culinary fashion. You will find Sysco (or US Foods, PFG, Gordon's) items in the lowest-grade heat-n-serve joints, to the Pappas restaurants. It's still about choosing product quality and type of preparation. And say what you will about Chuy's, the Boom Boom Enchiladas are fucking delicious.
  14. Where are you training out of?
  15. About tree fiddy.
  16. You have better ball control.
  17. So...a loss. Got it.
  18. I would imagine their could be a grievance initiated through the Players Union. Probably tough to prove.
  19. Headed to Snowbird for 2 days and Alta for 1 in a couple weeks. First time going. Any tips, recommendations for a group of Utah newbs? I assume to get snacks, water, and booze (State Liquor stores) before hitting Little Cottonwood Canyon. I've heard the breakfast burrito at General Gritts is good. 5 guys, with a variety of experience levels. Thanks.
  20. Missed the Drew rumor. Possible to Arizona?
  21. Canadian Open cancelled due to COVID restrictions. Looking for a venue for a 1-year event.
