  1. He likes infrastructure.
  2. Where is the meteorologist? What are the conditions that create freezing rain/sleet versus snow? I'll take my answer offline.
  3. Marisnick got engaged. That means his MOJO is gone. Have fun at Wrigley.
  4. No way that will absorb precipitation and freeze itself. I'm sure God will protect, like the Texans.
  5. Chicken size.
  6. Creme Brulee is a good way to go through some eggs. 5-6 yolks for 4 ramekin servings. Freeze the whites for omelets or something else.
  7. Still annoys me that they don't give a menu with prices at Country Tavern. First time I went and got the bill, I was surprised at how proud they were of their que.
  8. Cross posting from the Weather thread. From my pool guy: The next couple of days are forecasting a hard freeze in our area. To protect your pool equipment the most important preventive measure is to run the pool pumps continuously while temperatures are near and below freezing. This includes all pumps: Main, Cleaner and Water Features. Pools with electronic control boards typically have freeze protection built in and will come on automatically as the temperature approaches freezing. Some manual timers have a freeze protection feature (a black knob below the timers to select a temperature). Regardless of your system, we recommend you verify your pumps are running to avoid any freeze damage to your equipment. Pools with hot tubs and automatic valves will alternate the valves to keep water moving in both sets of pipes. If you have manual valves that you turn when using the hot tub, I would partially turn them, ~45 degrees, to keep water flowing in both sets of pipes. In addition to running your pumps, you may also cover your pipes. Care should be taken to not cover the motors, heaters or any electronic components that could pose a fire hazard. It is not recommended to run the heater as it will have little effect.
  9. Since it was raised on the last page. Here is some info from my pool guy if anyone needs it: "The next couple of days are forecasting a hard freeze in our area. 10. Go take a dump on his desk.
  11. Can I buy you a fith sandwith? -Leon Phelps
  12. Show me a loss.
  13. Dammit. I know he's no All-Star, but an above average CF, threat on the bases (especially with the man on 2nd rule for extras), and by all reports a great clubhouse guy. Plus, he has familiarity with MM. Seems like we fucked up here. Unless they have a different target.
  14. Guys. Guys. Chill out. Now, let's join hands and pray for guidance on the next steps.
  15. The Industrial Revolution to me is just like a story I know called "The Puppy Who Lost His Way." The world was changing, and the puppy was getting... bigger. So, you see, the puppy was like industry. In that, they were both lost in the woods. And nobody, especially the little boy - "society" - knew where to find 'em. Except that the puppy was a dog. But the industry, my friends, that was a revolution.
  16. Mother Clucker Sandwich is Strong, to Charlie Strong.
  17. Great coach. Gone at 77.
  18. Then everyone would be bitching at the low-key, and dry Canadian humor all the skits were. Can't win when it comes to those who complain about SNL.
  19. Did they not hire a Youth Pastor for the front office?
  20. ^^^^^ Agreed. I think Romo does a good job, but that kind of hyperbole was too much for me.
  21. Romo also said that Mahomes was going to play in and win a ton more Super Bowls.
  22. Heavy petting and blue balls for everyone?
  23. Feels like the ending of The Truman Show. Everyone finds something else on, or opens up a book.
