  1. For sure. And just one more example of “keeping your friends close and your enemies closer”. That shit applies to so many parts of life…but none more than college football conference realignment.😉
  2. Right! No more FedEx years, aggy. Our NIL’s are bigger than y’all’s! (I hope😬)
  3. I could see this being repeated ad nausea… all the old Horns fans..”Pooooorrrr agggyyy” All the kids…“sec-sec-sec!” Olds- ”Pooooorrrr agggyyy” Kids, “sec-sec-sec!” ”Pooooorrrr agggyyy” “sec-sec-sec!” I’d love it.
  4. “Damned T-shirt fans” 😉
  5. Really? I mean, I’m not trying to argue, but I don’t sense it. Then again, it’s 1:15am in my world and I’m pretty tired so maybe not keeping up. At any rate, I’m sure not scared. I feel like for the better part of 20+ years I’ve been watching Texas teams play at the level of that of their opponent. Instead of going out and playing their game and simply exerting their will, they fell into the trap of “taking what the opponent gives us”. If playing sitter competition wakes ‘em up. I’m here for it. LFG.
  6. I’m not in this camp. I’ve long wanted to play them. But then again, I’m probably a lot older than most of the Posters here. I was raised on the game. And I miss it. Are they annoying? Yes. Did it suck when Texas lost to them? Yes. But you know what, it was even better when Texas beat’em. Go ask Ricky. He’ll tell you.🤘🏻
  7. You’re kidding, right? There’s no way those idoits vote “yes” out of pure spite. They hate “tee-yewww” more than they love themselves.
  8. The placement of his right hand and the “aTm” is….odd.
  9. Have you considered hanging out with less “dipshits”?
  10. It’s brutal. I mean, I feel for those working the docks- Really do. They are a KEY cog in the machine. And I sure a lot of them want to get back to work for many varying reasons- Money being chief amongst them!
  11. She plays this part SO well. I’m ready for more Ozark! But for now, back to Recruiting… @BurntOrange&White- Help my feeble brained self, if you please- Do we think this deletion was because it’s not looking great for Jordan? (And if I’m way the hell behind on the situation, please just ignore me)
  12. That’s part of it. Not to go all CR, but when the Government is paying hourly workers to stay home…well, what did they expect?😲🤐 And, some of it is simply that not all states are as “open” as others. A brand I rep had FIFTEEN containers sitting in Long Beach for the better part of three months. That’s roughly 50Kpr.
  13. This is exactly what I’m thinking. I’ve spent the past 35yrs of my life in the Athletic Ftwr/Apparel business. I’ve never seen anything like what’s going on right now in terms of shipping/logistics. The factories are pretty much back up to speed. That’s not the issue. The issue is the simple lack of containers in which to ship the goods. They’re either sitting in a bay on a Maersk liner or sitting in a dockyard waiting to be unloaded/returned back to the FE. There is the option of air freight- Which considering the rising cost of shipping, is actually a bargain these days. If Nike wants their good to hit their WH, it’ll happen. Period. As for the Ftwr, the majority of their PE’s are all made in the basement of the Michael Jordan bldg on the Beaverton campus. I’m not sure if they can make 100+ pairs though…probably? Maybe?
  14. Interesting. Wonder what he means by “a few surprises”?
  15. Besides UO’s relationship with Nike, I think this might be the second best use of a “donor” relationship. I’d be shocked if the U didn’t somehow finagle this into an exclusive deal with IMG or something similar…It’s the freaking Wild West out there. Go ye forth and prosper!
  16. This right here. I’m sure a lot of you understand what I’m about to say, but there are some here that don’t seem to get it, or they’re just not paying attention. To a lot of 17-19yo’s, the Brand matters. Period. School Brand, Uniform Brand(hello SHOES) and now, of course, Personal Brand. Phil Knight bleeds green and yellow. I’m sure he’s just as tired of UO’s wallowing around in mediocrity as a lot of us are with Texas doing the same. Of course he’s in a much better suited position to affect things that most of us. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t arrange for certain recruits SNKRS accounts to be flagged to come up winners on all the launches. Dammit, I sound like an aggy conspiracy theorist…🙄
  17. Yup, I was 9. It was “I’ve eaten nine hundred fried PB&banana sammiches” Elvis, but it was him. My first concert ever. I think it was in February. He would be gone <6months later.
  18. I, too, am Terminally Caucasian😬 Saw the Beasties at Fair Park I Dallas in ‘87. GREAT concert. Fish Bone opened. Then, again in ‘99 (‘00?) on the Hello Nasty tour at Tarrant Count CC. Man, I’ve seen some GREAT concerts at TCCC.. ’77- Elvis ’87 - U2 ’87 - Van Halen w/Sammy (or was it ‘86?) ’99 - Beastie Boys Viva el TCCC!
  19. Humble Brag!! ~ KIDDING. That’s awesome. I’ve seen them 4 or 5 times. ‘87 Joshua Tree @ Tarrant Cnty Conv Ctr ’89 Reunion Arena and the next night I think?) in H-Town (Astrodome) ’98(?) Zooropa in Cotton Bowl ’16(?) - In Jerry World (worst concert cause acoustics suck) I’d love to be able to time-travel and see them at Red Rocks!
  20. Very cool. So glad you got to see/hear the album live. I missed the 30th(!!) Anniversary tour, but I’m guessing the opening, when the red hewn lights came up and the first notes of “Where the Streets…” began, sent a wave of excite through the entire audience. I get chills just thinking about it. What a great band!
  21. Sadly, you missed the “best” U2.
