  1. This may be the best post of all time in this place. No offense to your Mom, but you could put a scoop of Amy’s Mexican Vanilla on warm poop and I’d contemplate diving in...#nocap
  2. I kid. Yeah, I get it. This make much more sense.
  3. Not sure what you’re referencing here, but I’m talking about Nahlin and the others “reporters”. I doubt they’re in their early 20’s...hell, maybe they are...
  4. Thanks, @RGBIII. I gotta admit. I don’t follow a lot of these “9.95” guys on Twitter and I certainly don’t pay for their opinions (did I tell you,” Thanks” @RGBIII? 🙂 ), but are they always this redundant? “I prefer Arnett to Golding...but I’m not really down on Golding”(nttawt) And then he goes on to say “you just don’t see a truly elite offense paired with a truly elite defense”. I mean, did he watch the ‘05 CCG? I’d submit that BOTH Texas and USC were “truly elite” on both sides of the ball.
  5. Yeah, I saw this earlier today. I assumed this is what @Sgt. Slaughter was referencing.
  6. So the real question could be; is Ayodele “slow”? Or does he just take bad angles? 😉 I kid. I get what you’re saying. This the difference between a 4* and a “high 4*... maybe stars do make a difference...🤔
  7. While I agree with the point your making (at least if I understand you correctly); I’d simply ask- Can a 4* or 5* player not be coached to “stop the spread”? I mean, they’re all freaks of nature / long, lean, coordinated ATHLETES.
  8. Not to pick nits, but I believe the term which you seek is “era”. However, I’m going to give you credit for the double entendres. It was definitely an “Error”.
  9. Hell, if one could do this you’d never leave the house!
  10. So, you never told your GF you needed to practice the tip drill?
  11. I’d imagine it was for many reasons. It’s still one of my biggest “misses” in respect to UT games. I REALLY wish I’d gone to this one. I was hoping to make up for it by going to the LSU game this year, but Covid had other plans. And hell, given Turtle Tom they’d have probably ended on the wrong side of that contest anyway. Thanks, Turtle!
  12. Holy moly- tech fans are THE worst in the state. I was at this game, too! No lie; I had a an old woman IN A WHEELCHAIR dog cuss me as I walking out of the stadium! I didn’t say a damn thing to her. Just kept walking. And was like, “what the...?”
  13. First, T&P for you having to ever live up North (JK...kinda😉). Second, I agree with you on this. I didn’t make it to the ‘05 game , in the Shoe...AT NIGHT! But I did have friends who went and told similar stories of the raucousness. I did however make it to the ‘06 game, down here in God’s Country. I was pleasantly surprised at the behavior of the tOSU fandom I encountered. It just goes to show you, that MOST of the idiots are the “fans” who likely don’t travel...for one reason or another. (Like they can’t leave the state jurisdiction)
  14. Story hits close to home, as I’m sitting here watching one of Limas’ kids play volleyball right now...
  15. No offense BO&W, but don’t you want our TE’s to, you know, CATCH the ball? 😉
  16. All of this. My Mom’s side of the family is all from arkiesaw- I used to to get dragged to their “Memorial Stadium” and to Barn Hill arena for games. Being the only native Texan in the family, I simply adopted Texas as “my team”. That’s how I became a fan. I would stand there with my 🤘🏻held high and it would just piss off my uncles and cousins something fierce. Good times...
  17. I once had to “try” and guard LJ in high school. Let me tell you he’s worth a lot more than $1.5M...oh wait, you’re not taking about Grand Ma Ma are you?
  18. Yup. Noted. And this, my friends, is why “multi/tasking” (In this case trying to keep up with the going’s on of TX Football and that annoying thing called “work”) is NOT always a proficient way to go about things. Bottom Line - Shit gets missed.
  19. First, let me preface that I am pretty much the furthest from an “insider” that has ever lurked on this site. Second, I respect and appreciate a lot of what you, Machinator, and many others bring to the site. Now that I’m done kissing your collective asses; let me offer a counter point- from reading the contributions of many on this board, S&C Coaches have long been more than just that, Strength & Conditioning coaches- They’ve been babysitters, enforcers (of punishment) and even confidante to players. Maybe, just maybe, Saban is on to something here- Two of these HAS to be better than one; no? The more eyes on the Team, the lesser the chances of a major screw up. Perhaps the dude with the PhD and no football acumen whatsoever is really a licensed psychiatrist/therapist? Or maybe one educated in straight EQ; like a Professionally Certified Leadership/Life Coach? Hell, let’s go contract Tony Robbins, John Maxwell or Inyala Vanzant. #whateverittakes #allgasnobrakes
