  1. Although, I only got to see “Van Hagar” (🙄), this is exactly how I feel. I got burned out on “5150” and had moved on to more alternative stuff in the late-80’s/early 90’s…
  2. I WANT and NEED to do more of this. Problem is, I’m typically busy with kids-> Case in point, I had to forego PJ in OKC for our youngest’s Vball event back in September- So my next opportunity to see them is…???? More to the point, my next concert is in two weeks in Palm Springs with that same daughter. We live in DFW-area. I travel to OKC, Tulsa, Shreveport/Bossier, Monroe and up into AR for biz. Would appreciate any/all advice on which venues/clubs to catch GOOD music, to chill and have a beer… Good stuff! 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🤘🏻
  3. This hits close to home…meaning, I saw The Cult open for Metallica in ‘89 (or was it ‘90?)..anyway, I walked out on metallica🤷🏻‍♂️😬😂
  4. This makes a lot of sense. It sucks big time, but yeah, I can see all of this happening. Alcohol, drugs, fame, success, money and EGO; typically a baaaaddd combination. Again, appreciate the info and synopsis!
  5. I LOVE VH1, 2, Diver Down, W&C1st, etc. However, I was in 9th Grade in ‘84 and when this hit the airwaves- I was immediately pulled back in. It’s sad to read that what pulled me (and potentially millions of other fans) back to the band may be what ultimately destroyed it. And given Eddie and Alex’s literal history of their music as it relates to their training; how could someone not want to let Eddie play keyboard?? I’ve not read Templeman’s book, but you mentioned he blames Sammy- perhaps he, himself, could share some of the “blame”. Anyway, thanks again for the post/info!
  6. Well, this and the eleventy-billion cigarettes he smoked. That certainly didn’t help. But moreover, thanks for your very well thought out and insightful post.
  7. I want one of those times to be the second Saturday in October. Again.🤘🏻

No clue, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t sound like one of the “Baby Einstein” videos my now 20yr used to watch as an infant…🥲😂 #Heardle #328 🔇⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ https://spotify.com/heardle?r=share
  11. I’m over faaaarrrrr on the right side. We sat in the SC booster section. I shit you not, they were flabbergasted at “#10” and his abilities. literally all game- “Who is this guy?” “why can’t they stop him?” The wife and I just cackled our asses off. oh what a glorious night that was…🤘🏻

Agreed. Very different. But I do like Cale’s better. And I’m not sure what’s up with the emojis…?

  14. Oh, Man. This is tough to see. Just awful…
  15. Someone should take the picture of the two Spidermen pointing at each other and photoshop Bowles’ head on one and Skip Bayless’ on the other. They’re doing the same schtick for two of the biggest brands in sports.
  16. My first concert was seeing Elvis at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Ft.Worth, in Feb’77. My Mom took me. She was a huge fan. I was 9. I still remember seeing the undergarments being tossed on to the stage and at the end, the PA announcer, “Ladies and Gentlemen/ Elvis has left the building”.
