  1. My best friend worked at 7-11 by campus, on MLK I think. Still can't believe we didn't get him fired, it wasn't for lack of trying. No way we could get away with any of that now
  2. I didn't think I was hungry but this changes everything
  3. You need to go back just for the dragster ride among others. We planned a Chicago trip in 2015 and I strong armed a trip to CP as part of it, wife hates rollercoasters and was not amused with the alteration to her travel plan but that was the closest we'd be to CP in the foreseeable future. We ended up landing in Chicago at 8pm, secured rental car and I drove us to Sandsky, we got there around 3 or 4am. Woke up to be there 30 min before opening and 3 of us had an amazing experience and the 4th one (wife) tolerated us. The hotel had an indoor water park so it ended up being fun for everyone. Stopped by Notre Dame on the way back to Chicago and did the tour which was greatness, really enjoyed it. Had the tour guide take a pic of us giving the horns up on their field and then we proceeded to get destroyed there 38-3 a month later.
  4. Was really impressed with Busch Gardens. I went in expecting it to be on par with Six Flags over Texas but it was on a whole other tier. Cedar Point and Universal Studios Orlando are my meccas out of the coaster parks I've visited and I'd put BG just below them, along with Magic Mountain. We booked a snorkeling trip to Egmont Key Island but storms flared up halfway there and we had to turn back and the trip turned into a sightseeing tour that was still pretty interesting. They fully refunded us but it was still a bummer, really wanted to see the island and it's civil war fortifications.
  5. Yup it was FGCU, they're offering him a full ride. I wasn't sure what to think but I loved the school and it's a beautiful campus. We saw some alligators lounging by the ponds and the dorms are easily the nicest we've seen so far. He fell in love with the school too, we still have a few more visits but I think he's made his mind up
  6. Had a great time, Bern's was fantastic. Busch Gardens was great, went in with mediumish expectations and we all had a blast, some great coasters there and the zoo aspect was pretty cool. The Florida Aquarium and Sparkman Wharf were nice too. Went down to Ft Myers to visit a college my son is considering so got to go over the Skyway Bridge twice, I love that stuff but it made the wife nervous both times. And just in case someone bumps this looking for stuff to do, the flamenco show at the Columbia restaurant was really fucking cool. Wife dragged my sons and I kicking and screaming to it and we all ended up mesmerized. Great food and drinks too.
  7. Wears jacket on 100 degree day and complains about the heat
  8. If they have an app that supports that I would switch, that'd be cool
  9. Hell I'm having a hard enough time with the average Joe's on the app. Started out 4-0 before dropping 5 straight and now sitting at 5-7. I feel like Charley Strong. Zepol is playing, if we get enough people we can start having Surley tournaments
  10. If you haven't already, go revisit old campsites in the epilogue
  11. Did a half assed tapa search and found nothing. Anyway, I'm renewing my dominoes career after a long, long hiatus. Enjoying the flyclops app and looking for more asses to kick, username is McQuinn
  12. Love the Far Cry series but this one is garbage
  13. #teamlion Was rooting for the lions to end careers
  14. Good one, you win. Let's move on now.
  15. Yeah, figured it would make you feel more secure about yourself
  16. Wasn't planning on doing a family vacation this summer but stumbled upon cheap airfare to Tampa and said fuck it, I've never been so why not. My son's and I love us some rollercoasters so Busch Gardens is booked but that's about it as far as itenerary goes. We'll be there 4 days, anything we shouldn't miss?
  17. Out of paper plates and beer but was a simple, lovely dinner
  18. WHITE CENTER, Wash. -- Deputies are investigating a reported burglary and fatal shooting that happened early Monday morning. This happened in the 9800 block of 13th Avenue Southwest in the White Center area. The homeowner told deputies around 2:40 a.m. Monday he woke up to hear glass breaking in his home and found a burglar inside. He reportedly shot and killed the suspect while he was on the phone with 911, according to the King County Sheriff's Office. “He was on the phone trying to hide from possibly multiple people who were inside his home,” Sgt. Ryan Abbott with the King County Sheriff’s Office said. “That's what we're trying to figure out is how many people were inside the house." Deputies searched for a possible second suspect, but so far no one has been found. “In the beginning we believed there was another suspect possibly outstanding. When deputies arrived they began a K9 track and that K9 track didn’t lead to any other suspects,” said Abbott. “It’s unknown if the suspect is by himself or if anyone else was with him and that’s something major crimes units, who just arrived on this scene, are working to try to find out this morning.” A nearby neighbor says he’s glad the homeowner was able to defend himself and his property. Neighbors also tell us that crime in the area is on the rise and a trail behind the neighborhood has become a hangout spot for homeless transients. “When he first got there, I told him it’s a nice house, but I keep seeing these people behind there, and they actually broke through his fence before and he repaired it,” said Dale Meadows, who lives across the street. “They actually came up in his yard. I told him you need to put up some security back there cause these people who hang out back there are dangerous.” Deputies currently have a search warrant for the house and say the homeowner is cooperating with their investigation. The holy shit part is the 911 call:
  19. The 2.0 should be able to kill yellow jackets or at least render them mostly dead. Big moths are fun to shoot too, they leave a big puff of moth dust and wing fragments.
