I got hung up in this right after it happened. Pretty grim
I don't really think he needs to have it covered now so I don't have an answer to that question. Simply stating he probably shouldn't have gotten it in the first place is sufficient for me.
I mean, you have the right to feel however you want regardless, everyone does. But the point I'm trying to relate is there's a lot of people who have sported these who are in no way even Nazi adjacent. There is literally no one with a swastika tattoo you can say that about. And given this dude doesn't have any history of spouting Nazi talking points I have no issue with him just getting it covered now.
As I said, a totenkopf tattoo doesn't even move the needle for me on a jarhead from that era. If the dude had sig runes and a history of Nazi beliefs then I would say no way, but this is mildly annoying at best.
I literally have a ring of that, and I'm as far from a Nazi as it gets. I would say the chances of anyone involved in special forces from 2001 to 2010 or so not having some sort of Totenkopf memorabilia is lower than those that do just fwiw
If I'm honest, I've never been over the moon with it. It's definitely very good, and does the BB thing as good as anything, but it's definitely a certain sound.
