  1. That tracks. It's no Boston, that's for sure.
  2. There's several Floyd albums that could go on here, but I would say Animals Social Distortion - Sex, Love and Rock and Roll is also nothing but bangers.
  3. Yeah
  4. Oh shit, this actually reminds me of the unequivocally worst show I've seen, David Allen Coe in like 2005. I had totally blanked this from my memory. But he was so incapacitated they carried him out and put him on a stool, and it was just 30 minutes of absolute gibberish.
  5. That sucks. They were one of the best shows I've seen when I caught them around the turn of the millennium.
  6. Everclear was fucking atrocious when I saw them in '95 or '96. Motley Crue was well past their prime when I saw them as well, probably late 00s?

    Led Zeppelin

So I'm not sure where else to put this, but there is a Dread Zeppelin documentary out.
  8. Y'all are some high energy motherfuckers. I need a nap after just reading about all this standing up.
  9. He's also a dork
  10. Gotcha. I subscribe to the never run when you can walk, never walk when you can stand, never stand when you can sit theory. Also never sit when you can lay down.
  11. How many of yall play standing up when not in a band situation?
  12. Hell yeah man
  13. At my company Christmas party the other week, my office manager's husband was trying to tell me about a good band he just found, Red Dirt Something or other, and I was like you mean Red Clay Strays? Yeah that's it ! Ha. I was like yeah they kick ass. Anyway, also in the other good stuff category, I just heard one of the best covers of Rhinestone Cowboy ever last month when I stumbled on Orville Peck's new album.
  14. No David Essex, wnb
  15. Damn lol.
  16. I kinda agree, mostly because I think they are more revered for a very deep catalog than any one particularly fantastic song. To me they are firmly a new wave/power pop band, not really rock and roll. There's honestly not many straight rock bands from that era. The Ramones, The Clash, The Pretenders, AC/DC, Motorhead, The Alarm and such were kind of the leading lights, and only some of those bands charted much. Bruce and Tom Petty to a degree.
  17. The Cars are one of my all times, but i don't feel like they fit in this list.
  18. My man
  19. Alright I whiffed on this, this is a top 3 song period
  20. Well one out of two ain't bad
  21. It's So Easy is up there. I had probably the hardest time with picking a Guns song. Mr. Brownstone, Nighttrain and Its so Easy were being debated in my mind. Johnny B Goode is definitely a good one but I thought I could only justify one from that era as the song pool is much smaller. Buddy Holly Not Fade Away was also on my mind.
  22. It's hard to do because there's different songs for different times. I think the best I can do is my top ten in no particular order. And honestly several of these bands have tons of songs that could go in, this is just a random stab. Stones - Sympathy for the Devil Zeppelin - Good Times Bad Times Motorhead - No Voices in the Sky Pink Floyd - Pigs (3 Different Ones) Creedence - Fortunate Son (really wanted to put Born on the Bayou here) Stones - Gimme Shelter Guns - Pretty Tied Up Smithereens- A Girl Like You Clash - Clampdown Bobby Fuller - I Fought the Law
  23. I'm fucking cackling right now.
  24. Lol.
