  1. I hated talk radio with a fucking passion from my childhood on, I'm certainly not listening to a fucking podcast.
  2. I've been touting the sex, drugs and rock and roll platform my whole life
  3. Yeah it's exactly the shit I expect out of Chapelle. I was very disappointed Burr did it though.
  4. I dunno, I'm that way and he had been in my top 5 most hated douchebag list since the 1980's.
  5. This actually popped up last week. I doubt it moves the needle here.
  6. Yeah, I'm liking his style so far.
  7. So just an FYI, today is Bandcamp Friday, where artists get all of the proceeds of sales. So if you are into any indie artists, or anyone really, it's a good day to hit up their Bandcamp and make a purchase https://daily.bandcamp.com/features/bandcamp-fridays?from=countdownbanner
  8. Sad day in guitar land
  9. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug
  10. I'm honestly just really into (what I think is) the latest album cover. I'm a sucker for the OG fantasy stuff.
  11. Yeah fuck that guy. But anyway, I didn't know where to put this, as I'm not sure I will be going to these shows, but Hum is getting back out there again.
  12. I can't say I've seen a lot of lists, it's mostly from discussion with other musicians or music fans, so not sure how representative that is, but Creedence is almost universally in conversation with Springsteen and Dylan as number one on the rock side. Carol King as just songwriter in general. But again I could be way off. Ah, I see where you went wrong.
  13. Is he? I think he's pretty much considered the greatest except maybe Carol King? I mean, don't get me wrong, Creedence is my ride or die band after the Stones, but Fogerty has to be one of the most spectacularly self destructive people ever. I love his work but man is his own worst enemy.
  14. Dude he fucked himself every step of the way.
  15. Fogerty fucked himself
  16. Charlie is absolutely on for the Beacon. I had seen that not too long ago actually
  17. Oh yeah, there's no doubt about that. I was teethed on everything Stax/Sun/Muscle Shoals. Its in my blood. Plus this song is consciously southern ish aesthetic to represent Charleston
  18. I can't decide if that good or bad.
  19. What if the rapture happened and everyone is so shitty we are all still here.
  20. My honest opinion, this show in '72 was the greatest rock concert of all time.
  21. My man.
